These shoes are a great style for work: attractive, a nice heel that is not too high, and they look good with pants or dresses. The soles are nicely padded although like most other dressy shoes they have no arch support. My main complaint about them is that the toe box is very narrow. I have a slim foot but my toes are cramped in these. This limits the time I can wear these shoes.

I was looking for a pair of shoes that were a little dressy. These shoes fit the bill. They have a little heel which dresses the shoe up and are comfy as well. It is not easy to find dressy shoes with a lower heel but I can always count on Zappos to have something.

I was so happy with my shoes from Zappos, they were so comfortable especially when I had a wedding and I had to be on my feet the whole night. Also, Zappos is the most wonderful company to buy from. Their policy of buying and returning cannot be beat by any other company, as far as I am concerned. Other companies is the United States should take a lesson from their operation of satisfying the consumer.

The perfect mid-heel pump. I'm 6 feet tall, but I don't want to be stuck in ballet flats and loafers the rest of my life. I also don't want to ruin my feet and back with high stilettos or platforms. These are perfect!

This is a very cute and comfortable shoe. I have problem feet, extremely wide and with large bunions. I ordered 8 pairs of black dress shoes in hopes of finding one that would work and these were definitely the best. Very soft leather, manageable heel and nice style. Not as comfy as my walking shoes or clogs, but pretty great for a dress shoe with a heel. I highly recommend the trotters Madeline!

This shoe was ideal to wear for my daughter's wedding. I chose white pearl to go with my light green dress. The shoe fit true to size, the heel height was very comfortable, I was on my feet for several hours, and the detailing made it nice for a special occasion. I did not want a flashy shoe, but I wanted a pretty shoe, and this shoe was perfect. For style, comfort, and fit, this shoe is well worth the price.
I am very pleased with my Trotters Madeline. I have a very hard time finding shoes to fit properly. These are comfortable and attractive, and true to size. I would like to add that I found your customer services reps very helpful and understanding. It was so refreshing to have a courteous person help to clear up a small problem in such a helpful manner.

I was looking for a dress shoe to wear to my daughter's outdoor wedding. I needed a low and thicker heel so I could walk easily through grass without sinking my heels into the sod. I found this style and brand to be very a comfortable shoe and the classic style worked out perfect for me. I wore these shoes all day and night and did not feel any discomfort.

I bought these because I was looking for a classy, but comfortable, pair of dress shoes to wear to my daughter's wedding. These are comfortable for the most part. They do rub where the toes stick out of the peek hole. However, they look nice for a low heel shoe. Rather expensive though.

Classy, super comfortable, wide size great for extra room in the toe box, while strap in back holds shoe in place if you also have a narrow heel. Wore them first time all day to a country club event, never once even thought about them, they were that comfortable!

I liked the look and feel of this shoe. However, the shoe is not made well. I tried them on and walked a few feet and the leather separated at the top of the shoe. I purchased two pair (one from you and another pair from another merchant) and they both had the same defect. The manufacturer should be made aware of this problem. If this hadn't happened I would have brought a pair in all colors. Shawna W

7 1/2 Narrow -
I needed black shoes for Spring and Summer that I could use with dresses and suits for work. I have very difficult feet to fit (very narrow and with bunions) and return most of the shoes that I order because they are uncomfortable or too wide. These are keepers - they are a nice professional shoe, they fit, and I can wear them all day. That said, they are not particularly exciting or fashion-forward. Still, they are attractive enough and will surely be a staple in my closet for professional needs. I am very glad to have found them.
