These boots are awesome! They have a 1 in heel, good arch support and the fur goes all the way down to the tips of the toes. The slight cushion on the bottoms are not too cushy, they are just right. Terrific fit and very warm.

Zappos came through in a pinch! Days before leaving for vacation in NYC, I realized I did not have proper footwear (we went right after the big Christmas blizzard...aptly named boots)! These came overnight, fit, and off we went...first stop,a taxi stand. Between me and the taxi was a giant, slushy puddle of yuck! These boots passed that test with flying colors. My feet were dry and warm the entire trip. We walked miles every day and these were comfy from the start. I did wear these boots with heavy socks each day.

Great choice. Nice and roomy which is important for my wide feet and bunions. I can fit my very large custom orthotics in the which is a huge plus and not often very easy to do. I'm glad I ordered this version instead of the shorter style boot. We just need more snow in Seattle so I can really test them out.

I find it interesting that the first few reviews for these were critical, and since then every review is all the stars. I mean all? These were terribly uncomfortable as the fur stops at the ankle and the footbed feels like wood... These boots look amazing-nice rugged sole, cute, but they are not comfortable at all. I never write reviews, but was shocked at so many great reviews there were for a boot that really hurts the foot. Seems the earliest reviews got buried.

When looking for a new boot, I needed fit and warmth andwaterproofness, I found all three in this boot. Then, to add style makes this the best of all for me. The buckle on the outside for style and the zipper on the inner side makes them very easy to put on. Great boots!! Come on winter snow, I am ready!

Cute boot but on my 10 WW the toe and ball of foot were too narrow. The amount of room from sole to top of foot (vertical) was fine, not too tight or too roomy and, heel width was fine. This was good because a lot of times those parts are too big when the toe width fits. However, there's a stiff short panel on the inside of the ankle that hits my ankle bone. I could probably put up with that - it's just a little annoying, not painful -- but since the front of boot pinches, it has to go back. Oh well!

In the past I've bought the Trotter brand boots and whilst they are comfortable they've had defective zips. They are always comfortable and so far I'm totally enjoying this pair. I use them for casual and/or semi-formal events and mostly work well with jeans that are boot-cut.

Wow! Best boots I'd been looking for the perfect boot for months and found it in the Trotters Blizzard. Warm, fit, and stylish. They even zip all the way up! I have very wide (4e) and short 5-1/2 feet so good fitting shoes, let alone boots, are rare to find. I got the 7 wide and they are perfect with my wool socks and inserts. The snow is deep here so I wear them often and for long periods. So comfortable and I get compliments all the time. Thank-you Zappos for offering wide, stylish & comfy!

True to size. Plenty of room. I usually wear a 12 Wide, and it like a glove. Have not used them outside yet, but in a few days, I may need to! Not enough room to put your pants inside to keep from getting wet, but your feet will stay dry and great tread on the bottom too.

Perfect, I loved these comfy boots. Fur lined all the way to the toes. I like that I can wear my jeans in or outside of these boots. Worth the money. Durable and waterproof with great traction in the snow. Easy on an off with the side zipper.
