Trina Turk Reviews
I'm a very petite person at 5'0" and 105lbs. I ordered the size 0, and it fit pretty well almost everywhere except the sleeves, which were too long, like by 3". But regardless of this, just the full sleeve style kind of takes things in a dowdy direction. 3/4th would have looked universally flattering and more modern. The satin sash is a bit much, and can be overwhelming on a slender frame or direct attention to a not-so-fit midsection as it sits right on top of it! Overall, though it's a generic black-sequined number that's being seen everywhere this season, what makes this dress stand out is good tailoring, finishes and cut. I had to return it, since I looked too disco-ball-prim in it!
Lovely, rich color and has a nice flow to it. Surprisingly, it is one of the few dresses that I do not have to have the hem taken up, as it hits me just slightly above the knee. Others may find it is too short, as I am only 5 ft. tall. It also is lower cut than is shown on this model but is a dress that can be dressed up or down and is versatile for many occasions.
This is a very flattering dress that shows off curves! It is not too short. It is an inch or two above knee on me. I wore with patterned tights and some killer Donald Pliner heels.
