My daughter really loves these shoes. They came with the regular laces and colorful rainbow ribbon laces which was a huge surprise. She has very, very narrow feet and these still work well for her.

My daughter loves them. We've been looking for a shoe that will go well with sporty skirts and this is it. She wears these without socks and is very comfortable walking to school, etc.

This youth version of the Nylite is better made than the adult versions, and is more like the original Nylite. Unlike the adult Nylites, which have a thin non-padded fabric sockliner and tongue, this youth version has a terry-cloth sock liner, terry-cloth padded tongue, and a soft padded ankle. The footbed does not provide much arch support, unlike the original ylites, but these do partly mold to one's foot after wearing a few times. (It would be nice if Tretorn would improve the "adult" versions to have the terry-cloth lining and improved padding of this youth version - and if they would add some soft arch support.) The fit is a bit on the narrow side, especially in the front. Someone with a wide foot or thick tennis socks probably should go up a half size from normal. The youth size 6 seems to fit a man's 6 B or a woman's 7.5 B. These are great for casual tennis, racquetball, or handball, and the canvas breaths better than leather would. A serious or competitive player probably would want tennis shoes with a harder sole. One can't beat the simple classic style of the Nylite on or off the court.

So cute! Very sturdy and of good quality. I feel than ran a little small so I am exchanging for a larger size.

These are just great. Easy to put on, great quality. What else can you ask from the rain boots?

Let me first say that we bought this shoe for our 2-year-old girl to wear in California's fall/winter with wool socks. They're not super thick but they are thicker socks than usual. She loved the look of the shoes out of the box. But the minute we got her into the shoes, she took them off, complaining that they were too tight across the top, where her toes meet her foot. Even with loosened laces, the shoe doesn't have enough give at that spot to make them fit with her wool socks on. I came back to the shoe page to try to get a larger size but, alas, she already tried the largest size, 9, and there's only M width available.

My six year old son has these and living in a place where it rains often, they are perfect. They keep his feet dry and warn and he loves them. I take him to the Rolando Beach and he wears these even in the cold. They are highly recommend.

Shoes did not hold up well at all. Referred friend as well and she had the same complaint. Navy area around ankle and heel came apart in a couple of months. Where sole is seamed to the canvas started to pull away soon after wearing.

I agree with above consumer as we had similar problems last year with our tretorn purchase. Zappos was very efficient and professional and fair on handling the problem but tretorn needs to get their act together. Nothing like the shoes of the 80's that we wore forever and even washed when dirty and never got holes!

Disappointing. I remember these shoes from my youth and I loved them. The quality of the shoe is substandard. We ordered 3 different pairs and they all had the same problem. The right and left shoe fit differently, enough for my 8 year old to notice and for it to bother her. (We do not have this problem with other shoes.) When we put both shoes side by side on a flat surface, one shoe was stable and laid flat, and the other did not. It rocked from side to side. The sole of the shoe was misformed. This was the case in all 3 pairs. The manufacturing of these shoes is substandard.

Can't begin to describe how much my daughter loves these boots. Just the right shade of yellow. She gets compliments on them all the time. Sturdy and super duper waterproof.

I purchased these boots for my granddaughter. They were perfect and she loved them. They fit just fine, were true to size, and the color is gorgeous. The rubber is nice and thick, and the inside of the boot is very comfortable.
