This coat is a very pretty color in person - mostly black stitching for the plaid, with some red and blue mixed in. It is less blue/purple up close than the photo makes it appear. It looks more sophisticated and classic that way, though - not a bad thing. The 4 fit me pretty well - 34" bust, 26" waist, 32C bra. The pockets and the hood are nice features for a coat of this style. Ultimately I am going to end up returning it because the lining felt pretty cheap. The wool is a good weight for a mild winter (with a sweater, probably) or for a transition season.
