I bought this shoe in Black last April for my wedding. I must say the shoe is well built and comfortable. It has a '20s appeal to it. I got several compliments. I was quite impressed with the quality of the rubber sole instead of the leather sole. The rubber stands up just as well and is just as durable. Although , you can't take anything away from the leather heel but the price. Overall 5 stars.

I had a few pairs by To Boot before so I was looking forward to wearing these. Unfortunately, they were much stiffer than I was accustomed to from this company. I had to return them.

I am considering purchasing a pair of these shoes. I noted on another review that the buyer was concerned about the soles and heels being one piece and made of rubber construction. I own a pair of Felix shoes made by To Boot with the same sole and heel construction and they have worn very well. I ordered today a pair of Franklin loafers with the same sole and heel and construction and feel very comfortable purchasing these shoes.

I am a long time To Boot fan and love the Aaron's in tan I just bought. I will be getting the black ones sometime soon. Great looking and they feel great all day!

Great looking shoe and fits well but I took them to a Cobbler and he says the quality and craftsmanship just isn't as good as say an Allen Edmonds or Bruno Magli. He pointed out that the soles aren't sewn and something else about the soles being all one piece vs multiple layers (sorry I'm not a shoe material expert). He did say the leather upper was very good and the color is very rare. Bottom line: great looking, great feeling shoe but not sure it will hold up as well as a top tier brand.
I'd also recommend: Allen Edmonds, Bruno Magli
