Zappos Rules - Having driven all over town looking for overshoes with NO luck, I finally resorted to the internet. Should have done that first. These shoes were exactly what I was looking for; very high quality, reasonably priced, and sized perfectly to fit over even bulky shoes. This is a great investment that will protect my quality leather shoes and save me having to resole them at $75 a copy. Zappos got the order right; they processed it very quickly; AND they upgraded the delivery at no charge so I got my purchase quicker than expected. Definitely a good deal all around.

Be careful... Great concept, poor design. I wear a size 14 and bought the Tingley size that is SUPPOSED to fit sizes 13-15. On the first day that I used the overshoe, it tore along the side. I also found the fit to be extremely tight, to the point that my normally comfortable dress shoe felt tight on my foot. Hmmmm.... I may try another version of the Tingley, but I'm not sure...

Too Small - These were worn one day and my husband decided they were too small. They were ordered by size per your recommendation. Other than being too small, they were fine.
Brands I'd also recommend: Larger size to fit over shoes

Nothing Like Dry, Warm Feet! The great depression wasn't great at all. As children, we would often walk on wet ground in shoes that had huge holes in the bottoms of them. Our feet were wet and cold. That memory still haunts me, and I'll do almost anything to keep my feet dry and warm. Do you know it's almost impossible to find "overshoes" in California? In department stores young clerks look at you as though you've just come from another planet, when you ask if the store has "overshoes." (When we were kids, we used to call them "rubbers." I guess there are reasons I don't like to call them that now.) Absolutely no stores in four large towns near my home carried anything like overshoes. I went on line. My first contact was Zappos. Zappos had exactly what I wanted...and in my size, too. Two days after my overshoes arrived, torrential rains came to the whole state of California...record-breaking storms. I was out in downpours, my feet were warm and dry. The compliments, mixed with envy, that I received for style, fit and appearance were rather amazing. If I had the time, I'd go back to all the department and specialty stores I originally visited and show those young, inexperienced clerks what overshoes are. Thanks Zappos for remembering!

About Tingley Overshoes
The year was 1896 and the man was C.O. Tingley, and he had a bicycle tire plug to sell. He traveled as far as Buffalo, New York, Boston, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. and back to New Jersey. All on his bicycle.
In 1910 Mr. Tingley took on an associate, William McCollum, Sr., who quickly began to diversify the product line. Through astute business decisions and a dedication to quality and value he guided the Tingley Rubber Company, along with his two sons, to its modern day roots. Utilizing the company's experience in rubber, Tingley designed, developed, and commercialized the first unlined stretch rubber overshoe. This innovation put the Tingley Rubber Company in the protective footwear business.
Today, the fourth generation of family management has expanded and refined the product lines that reach both consumer and industrial markets. Tingley now offers a complete line of waterproof protective footwear and clothing.
Tingley was first then and is first now! Tingley continues to be a front-runner in the industry, and was the first to introduce a compression molded unlined stretch rubber overshoe, first to respond to industry's need for an overshoe that would resist a wider range of solvents, caustics, hydrocarbons, fats, acids and oils than natural rubber with our Neoprene overshoe line, and first to introduce an injection molded unlined stretch rubber overshoe.

I was asked to look for some overshoes for my son-in-law on line by my daughter. I found them on your website. I believe he is wearing them and likes them because with Michigan weather they protect his shoes.

Overshoes - These overshoes have the conservative look I wanted. I did not want to necessarily call attention to my "rubbers", while protecting expensive shoes, while traveling to the salty, sloppy northern winter weather.

Best protector - I work in law enforcement and we are out in all types of wet weather. These are the best type of overshoe protector. When the other people I work with saw mine they started asking me where I got them from. I told them of your web site and now the whole dept. has them.

Hard to find - Because of the recent slipping of a good friend of mine I looked around for the overshoes in nearby stores. I was happy to find them at Zappos. Just fit over the western boots that are his usual choise of dress shoe. Easy to put on and do not take away from the style of the boots.

Good investment...well timed - A frequent business traveler in snow country, I bought these overshoes just before a February trip to Sweden. Not only did they keep my shoes in good shape in the snow and slush there, but my return flight into Dulles airport in Washington, D.C. was one of the last to land Saturday afternoon going into the February 11 2006 East coast snowstorm. My connecting flight was canceled, and by the time the airline finally released my suitcase the snow was coming down at nearly two inches an hour. Again, these Tingleys were a life saver, trekking across to get my rental car and, some 100 miles later, checking into a hotel for the night. The material is very tough but flexible, and has surprisingly good stretch to fit my wide shoes like a glove...both oxfords and loafer styles. The material is not at all sticky, and slides easily over even freshly-polished shoes. They pack easily (I fold mine into a gallon zip-lock bag and sit on it to compress when sealing). Packed this way, they take very little space in my carry-on bag. Now I can pack whatever shoes I like when traveling and know I'll be ready for anything. Good product.

I wear size 8D shoes and was told to select "small" in overshoes. The overshoes look fine and of good quality. However they are too small to fit over most of my shoes. I was able to fit them over only one pair of dress shoes.

Fit shoes well, although I wish they covered just a bit more of the top of the shoes.

Tingley Overshoes - They are perfect. They are light and can be slipped on quickly. They are small enough to store out of the way.

Having owned a shoe store in the village of Orchard Park for many years I am very personaly familiar with the Tingley Rubbers that I recently purchased. They not only protect my shoes but are easy to put on and great to walk in on the snow covered roads we have in this ski area.

Great Overshoe - I bought this overshoe from Zappos because I could never find anything locally. Even when I did, what I could find was of poor quality (prone to tearing, holes, etc). This is a good sturdy overshoe. Easy to put on but rubber is of sufficient thickness and durability to last a long time. Fit as advertised and good coverage of shoe. Great for Minnesota weather.

Banish cold and wet feet - The "Trim" style of rubber overshoe stretches easily over all types of dress and business shoes. They are lightweight and durable and are very comfortable to wear. I have sworn off soggy shoes and now I wear these Tingley’s commuting to and from the office whenever downpours, snow and slush threaten to trash my expensive dress shoes. When the weather threatens, you'll be glad you have your rubbers to put on!
