Tingley Overshoes

I have a hard time getting them over my work shoes or my tennis shoes. They are not wide enough. I am trying to use them but have a real problem getting them on. They will not stretch either. I am a little disappointed with them.

I wear a size 9 and these fit over my Skechers sandals-they stretch just enough then snap into shape so you can walk in them- they are just what I need to keep my feet dry when fishing or doing other outdoor activities- not stylish but functional, which is what I needed.

I needed something to protect my work shoes during the winter. These fit the bill. While overshoes never look stylish, it's not completely obvious you're wearing them with these. I usually wear a size 11.5 or 12, and wasn't sure if I should get the XL. It was a good decision. They fit my shoes with just a little room to spare, so not sure how they might fit on a size 14.

These guys are pretty straight forward. Not a lot of fashion, not a lot of bells or whistles. They kept my shoes covered and free of water to and from work in rainy NYC weather. Texture on the bottom was a nice bonus, kept me from slipping. Not too hard to get off, depending on shoe. Not easy to get on, but once on fits well. Nice product, glad I bought it. Now I don't worry about rolling out the nice shoes in bad weather.

Wanted coverage for shoes I will be wearing during excursions on a cruise to Alaska. Didn't want to invest in expensive boots and wanted waterproof protection. I simply intend to expose myself to limited mud so these are perfect yet being an older woman, fashion was not my aim; just how they would perform and I have always found Zappos to be my #1 place to find what I want.

As a letter carrier for the USPS, who walks close to 11 miles a day, I need reliable footwear including overshoes. The vendor I normally use for my work clothes and equipment changed the brand of overshoes I've used in the past, and the new brand was not faring well in the review department, so I decided to look elsewhere for a quality overshoe. A google search took me to zappos.com and I'm glad it did. The Tingley overshoe fits snugly over my shoes and so far between rain and snow showers have kept my shoes, and more importantly my feet dry. Most overshoes add a significant amount of weight to your feet, but these are better than any I've ever owned. The tread pattern on the sole is aggressive and provides a good stable grip to most surfaces. These cost a little more than I'm accustomed to paying, but then I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend these and when the time comes will buy again.

I ordered these because we were going to England and the East Coast and a lot of rain was predicted. Since I was going to be wearing flats I thought this would be a good lightweight solution instead of having to bring separate boots. They fit perfectly, stayed on well, and kept my feet dry as long as I wasn't in deeper puddles or long grass. Not the best look but definitely practical.

The Tingley Overshoe Work Rubber is way too wide for my boot (4 1/2" sole at the widest). I tried an XL which fit fine for length. There was no width marked but I was told that there was only one width made. This was not the case in the past. I would take a narrow if it were still made.

You need to buy 1/2 size larger than your regular shoes since these go over shoes. Grip soles are best! These should work in the snow as well.

I bought these for my husband to protect his shoes from the rain and snow and they are awesome. They are still in great condition despite being used regularly for a few years now. They cover most of his shoe which is nice and so far he has not experienced any leaks. They are a great buy!

Great Purchase! I bought these for my father--he leaves a pair of his dress shoes inside the overshoes for convenience in the wet weather. He loves them.

These are great for keeping dress shoes from getting muddy/wet. Easy to slip on and off. Overall very good product!

As a p.s. to my last comment, the thickness of the heel and sole of the shoe you intend using them on is paramount to getting them to fit.

I just received them, and will be taking them with me to Eastern Europe. My shoe size (leather uppers) are a size 8M. The Tingly box indicated 8 to 9 1/2. It was a good thing I am an 8, because it took much effort to get them to stretch onto those shoes. I have the feeling a large will be too large, so I plan on using them since I cannot take the time to play mail tag. Once installed on those shoes, they will stay on for the winter/fall season. If you are larger than a 8 1/2, good luck, you will need very strong fingers to stretch them on. Otherwise, they look serviceable for a season or two. I would recommend them except with the caveat to warn about sizing. Perhaps Zappos should try to slide them on to some of their shoes of different sizes so people could gauge which style of shoes they fit. It would save buyers and Zappos time and money.

The quality of these Tingley Overshoes was apparent. I bought these for a friend that wanted these style overshoes. She had worn them over the years and always insisted on Tingley. She was very pleased with the quality and fit. I would definitely order these again.

The Medium was way too big over my size 6 loafers (I could fit two fingers between my heel and the overshoe). The Large was way too small over my size 6.5 running shoes (couldn't even get the toes inside the overshoe). I'm returning both pairs. Pity...it's getting mighty slushy around here.

These provide great flexibility in the rubber and they fit very well. I recommend these.

These boots are okay. Certainly better than rubbers that just cover the shoe. However, the toe is pointed, and I have no pointy shoes, so the fit is a little off. All my leather work shoes have more rounded toes - wingtips, captoes, loafers - nothing with a point. And thinking back, I don't think I've ever had shoes with pointy toes. I'm curious why they make this with a pointy toe. Odd. Also, the boot could be higher. Trousers don't stay in, so I have to roll them up. I would like if the boot went a few inches higher up the leg. But again, they are much better than standard rubbers that only cover the shoe.

These overshoes are great. I bought them for my husband who was constantly coming home from work with soaked shoes. They are subtle, true-to-size and keep his shoes and feet nice and dry. A smart, smart purchase!

The overshoes were just what my husband wanted. He has only used them once, but really liked how they worked. The Zappos order was handled very promptly. Would order from them again.
