Excellent Watch - Perfect for everyday use: very clear to read, easy to program, band is very comfortable (the most comfortable waterproof band I have ever used), lightweight. If you like this kind of watch, look no further. And, as usual, Zappos ships so fast you'll have it in no time with no hassle if you don't like it.

A perfect watch for someone who just needs the basics. As a triathlete, I wear it to time swim, bike, run workout intervals and it has performed well. Its stopwatch is easy to use and the display is clear even in the middle of a workout. It's a good looking watch and comfortable enough to wear around even when I'm not working out. If you don't have enormous wrists, then I recommend cutting some of the watch strap off for a more streamlined fit.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend. He is a teacher and wanted a watch with a stopwatch feature that was practical and durable. It is a sporty style, with great features and excellent value for the price. I would recommend to others.
Brands I'd also recommend: Fossil

About Timex
In the 1990s, Timex vigorously pursued its long tradition of technological innovation and market leadership. The company introduced the industry's first electroluminescent watch face in 1992, when the blue-green Indiglo® night light appeared on some of its digital and analog watches. Today, more than 75 percent of all Timex watches are equipped with the Indiglo night light®. The All-Day Indiglo® display, using a hologram-like material, provides greater contrast between digital numbers and the display background. In 1994, Timex introduced the Data Link® watch, a sophisticated wrist instrument that carries scheduling, phone numbers, and other personal information, having collaborated with Microsoft to create the necessary software to communicate the data from computer to watch. In 1998, Timex pioneered its i-Control™ turn n pull analog alarm watch and, in a joint venture with Motorola, a new wrist pager called Beepwear®.
Today, the Timex Corporation is the nation's leading watch manufacturer. With a large and varied line of watches, Timex has the style for everyone. From the locker room to the board room, there is a great Timex style time-piece for you.

My brother requested this watch after having gotten one a few years ago as a gift. It is not fancy, but has all that he needs and uses.

Timex had promised a new version for years then dropped the ball. I have a dozen of the old ones that still work and hold phone numbers, notes and addresses. I just download it from my computer. These adds never say if they are old ones with the same capabilities. All you can do is buy a nano or keep looking for the usb connection with the small hook to attach it in these adds. I don't need a heat monitor! I am tired of looking and will probably by a nano.
Brands I'd also recommend: Older data link with usb to your computer

This watch is great and I love it for its simplicity, ease of use, and comfort. I use it successfully with intervals and any other runs. It's easily adjustable and splitting and timing is easy. The only problem was that the mode button became faulty (wouldn't change modes) after a year but I only have trouble with the button once every week or so. Other than that it's lasted me a little over 2 years!
