I love this watch. It was hard to find one in white with all the details that this has. And, the price is right too. HR monitor and calories burned appear to be accurate. Haven't used the other components yet. I would recommend this watch to anyone.

I like the watch, but when daylight savings time changed and I couldn't find the manual, it was hard to fix the time. My husband found the manual on the internet and set the time. I like how clearly the HR shows and knowing how many calories I am burning, the other features I don't use, like knowing what my total weekly calories are and if I stayed in my zone. To me, the calories tell it all. I want to order this watch for my daughter, but not in white. The white gets dirty and gray looking. I wore it in the shower. It doesn't get white again. I love the watch, but that's why I gave it 4 stars.

This watch looks great and feels good. It also does all it is needed to do such as heart rate monitoring, timing, and alarms. The reason I wanted to write a review was that even though this watch is in the men's section, the details are a purplish pink color. This clearly indicates that it is a women's watch. I just want to let others know that. But the problem was brief because of Zappos extremely helpful service!

The year was 1950 when the world's first inexpensive, yet utterly reliable mechanical watch movement was created and with it, a new wristwatch called the Timex. The Timex brand name became a household word during the 1960s. Having completely conquered the low-priced market, the company upgraded and diversified its product line including the first low-priced electric watches for men and women.

In the 1990s, Timex vigorously pursued its long tradition of technological innovation and market leadership. The company introduced the industry's first electroluminescent watch face in 1992, when the blue-green Indiglo® night light appeared on some of its digital and analog watches. Today, more than 75 percent of all Timex watches are equipped with the Indiglo night light®. The All-Day Indiglo® display, using a hologram-like material, provides greater contrast between digital numbers and the display background. In 1994, Timex introduced the Data Link® watch, a sophisticated wrist instrument that carries scheduling, phone numbers, and other personal information, having collaborated with Microsoft to create the necessary software to communicate the data from computer to watch. In 1998, Timex pioneered its i-Control™ turn n pull analog alarm watch and, in a joint venture with Motorola, a new wrist pager called Beepwear®.

Today, the Timex Corporation is the nation's leading watch manufacturer. With a large and varied line of watches, Timex has the style for everyone. From the locker room to the board room, there is a great Timex style time-piece for you.
