In the 1990s, Timex vigorously pursued its long tradition of technological innovation and market leadership. The company introduced the industry's first electroluminescent watch face in 1992, when the blue-green Indiglo® night light appeared on some of its digital and analog watches. Today, more than 75 percent of all Timex watches are equipped with the Indiglo night light®. The All-Day Indiglo® display, using a hologram-like material, provides greater contrast between digital numbers and the display background. In 1994, Timex introduced the Data Link® watch, a sophisticated wrist instrument that carries scheduling, phone numbers, and other personal information, having collaborated with Microsoft to create the necessary software to communicate the data from computer to watch. In 1998, Timex pioneered its i-Control™ turn n pull analog alarm watch and, in a joint venture with Motorola, a new wrist pager called Beepwear®.
Today, the Timex Corporation is the nation's leading watch manufacturer. With a large and varied line of watches, Timex has the style for everyone. From the locker room to the board room, there is a great Timex style time-piece for you.

I could not find this watch anywhere in the brick and mortar world. I wanted a watch with interval timers so I could run/walk. I can set a timer for 10 min. and a second one for 2 min. When the 10 goes off the 2 starts and when it goes off the 10 starts again and so on. This watch is also great looking even off the trail. I can wear it for most casual occasions. The delivery was very swift and I am most happy with my purchase.Read more » « Show less August 6, 2011 by Jan C

I loved these watches and swore by them, having worn them for the better part of a decade. I do not know what is gone wrong with Timex's quality, but it has definitely slipped dramatically. In September 2010, I wore my two year old watch into the ocean for about two minutes by mistake. It fogged up and died shortly thereafter. Okay, I thought, maybe salt water is not included in its purported water resistance. So, I bought another. It died in May 2011 when I took an unexpected bath in a shallow river (my canoe flipped). Er, water resistant to what depth? But, I loved these watches, so, yes, I bought another. The band broke off the face of my new watch last week (July 2011) and it is useless as a watch now. Okay, now I get it. Stop buying these watches. I will give it two stars. They are still cute and so long as you treat it like a non-waterproof and fragile watch, you will be set. But, now I need to find a watch.Read more » « Show less July 25, 2011 by Maggie B

I love this watch. It looks just like the picture. Best of all when you press the indiglo button the numbers light up, not the background. I will be buying from Zappos again!

This watch has all the benefits of the Ironman but with a sleeker, more professional look. I can wear it running and biking but also to work with my lab coat to see patients.

I love this watch! It's light, easy to use and looks good, too. I've searched for a great athletic watch and after years of looking I found it with this Timex. It actually has replaced my fancy watch and I wear it all the time.
