I was impressed by this bag once I started going through it upon arrival. I didn't know/expect there to be organizer pockets inside the main compartment for pens, phone, odds-n-ends, etc. That was a nice surprise. The laptop compartment is certainly roomy enough for my 17" MacBook Pro and features a tube of cushion at the bottom to protect your precious machine when setting down the bag. I would like to see some additional padding on the sides of the laptop compartment in a future version, but in the meantime I might just use a separate laptop sleeve inside the compartment. The peripheral pocket is handy for cords and chargers and features two slip pockets inside. As expected, the shoulder straps are quite comfy at distributing weight and I think the quality of manufacturing will help me enjoy this bag for a long time to come. I am docking it 1 star in overall because I would like to see additional padding in the sides of the laptop compartment.

I used this bag for a recent trip overseas. The laptop pouch is easy to access and could hold a 17wide easy. The shoulder straps are a little uncomfortable with a full pack, making a run from gate to customs a little uncomfortable. The inside pouch is too deep inside the main section to be easily accessed, worse if there are items in the bag. The front pockets are nice, would be better if they were elastic expanding. The larger of the two is too deep and narrow to fit my fat hands into if the pack is full. The smaller of the two fits a passport nicely. Could use 10mm more clearance but is nice for pens and other items. Overall nice pack. Looks professional, not like I'm going to school or climbing a mountain.

I really like this bag! The main reason I bought this bag was to transport my Dell M6500 laptop and other stuff for work. The laptop fits inside snugly and the bag is well constructed. I would recommend this product to those looking for a bag for their 17.3" laptop.

I love this backpack! It was exactly what I was looking for. Something with a low profile, enough room to hold a large laptop and surprisingly a lot more room than what I needed. I agree with some of the other reviews that the inside pockets could be wider. My hand barely fits. The only negative that I would have is that the durable fabric used seems to collect my dog's hairs and doesn't want to let go! Nothing that a brush can't take care of.
