I was in the market for a waterproof backpack. This is supposed to be water resistant but I haven't had a chance to test that out yet. It's a good, sturdy comfy backpack. The straps lie flat, they buckles allow you to secure all your things inside, it's not too big, and there's a laptop pouch. Overall, good purchase.

One word, awesome! I love this bag! It has great compartments, a waterproof top (to prevent anything from getting wet/soaked if you are getting rained on), and side zippers (create an easy access to the laptop and any items you place in the second smaller compartment). Also, it has comfortable straps and support. I love this bag, and I would recommend anything to buy this if they are looking for a new commuter bag. :)

I resisted getting a backpack for college, thinking it would look dorky. I originally tried a messenger bag, but found it was hard on my shoulders and neck when loaded with books and laptop. I looked at many backpacks before choosing this one. I love the style of Timbuk2 bags, and the Swig is a good size- large enough to fit laptop, notebook, a couple of books and sweater. It can feel small if I have to put anything more in it, though. The straps are comfortable, and it's exceptionally durable. I love the pockets- there is a place for wallet, sunglasses, iPhone, lipstick, ear buds, etc. I especially like the small zipper to access the front pocket- perfect for stashing my car keys!

This is an awesome bag. It is made by the best bicycle courier bag company in the business. They make bags to last. Usually they are single strap bags. This one is a little different than their usual stuff as it has back pack straps. But I love it. It is compact, but with loads of space. It even fits in the pannier on my bicycle. There are loads of sections and pockets. It has zippers on the side designed for easy access to the large and small compartments so you do not have to open the main flap. However, if you are security conscious, you can zip them up and tuck in the zippers so no access is available. That combined with the click flap, and the Velcro on the inside make this bag completely secure. An important feature as I am living in Europe where pick pockets are rampant. It looks cool too. And, hey, it is a Timbuk2. The best bag in the business.
