Fantastic Bag in Waxed Canvas - I just received this bag in just 3 day...in time for Christmas. Wasn't expecting it until after Christmas. I already have a Balistic Nylon version of this bag in Grass Green, but wanted something unique. Was thinking of designing my own 2-3 color Ballistic Nylon bag, but you can't get the commute model in that program...and everyone in Seattle has one of those. I wear a lot of Carhartt and Filson Waxed Cotton jackets, so the waxed cotton version appealed to me. I also hunt and fish, so the Blaze Orange was perfect. The bag is roomy, great looking, has a padded, quilted corduroy liner for a laptop, and many, many pockets. My new color is "Chocolate Brown" as the new, modern Basic Black. This bag compliments that look. Reminds me of the brown/orange tones of the desktops of Ubuntu/Linux. There's a padded backside to buffer the bag against your side, as well as a black ballistic nylon bottom section, black straps, and black piping. The total effect is extremely handsome. Zappos showed the bag with a bright orange strap cushion. I looked everywhere on-line to try to order one, but to no avail. The order came with the orange strap cushion included. TinBuk2 products are perhaps the best designed bags in the Industry. I've been a VP of Merchandise in the apparel and outdoor industry for over 35 years. I can't recommend any product higher than TimBuk2. As well as being outstanding quality, TimBuk2 makes their product fit the individual and FUN!! Just a really great bag! I'll enjoy it for years and especially on a trip to Europe next Fall. Seattle, WA

Nice looking bag, but tight on space - I really liked the look of this bag. When it arrived, however, it was tighter on space than expected. It'll fit a standard size laptop, but not one with any peripherals jutting out like a wifi or wireless connection card, a mouse USB receiver, or anything similar. By the time I loaded up the bag with my laptop, my power cord, a network cable for work access and a small notebook, it was uncomfortably stuffed. Also, I agree with a previous reviewer that the velcro straps are quite noisy when opening. If you're light on items to carry, it’s a good looking bag, but very small.
