Messenger bag - The bag is amazing... its extremely durable and able to carry large loads. I use it for everything and hold up great. The only possible downside is that the strap isn’t comfortable... you will need to buy a shoulder pad for the strap separately if you intend to carry anything remotely heavy in it.

Great Bag - My family owns several Timbuk2 bags. We all love them. They are rugged and hold a lot of stuff. The straps make it easy to haul around. I have got many comments on how nice my bag is.

Nice Bag - I bought this bag for my husband's birthday. He loves it and so do I. It is the perfect size, not too big, not too small and very sturdy with the right amount of pockets.

Great Bag - Unlike some of Timbuk2's other bags, these bags are made overseas. (Mine was made in Vietnam.) The medium bag is much larger than I expected. It is very roomy and I always have space to spare. The interior zippered panel pockets are very handy. However, I wish the main compartment could be divided into two sections so lunches wouldn't have to mix with shoes or other dirty stuff. The shoulder strap seems to dig a bit into my neck, but I have the same problem with car seat belts, so it could just be me. So far the bag seems durable enough that I could use it for several years.

Looks good - Bought this bag for my son for Christmas as he expressed a need for a satchel. Not quite a satchel as it is missing a handle although it does have a shoulder strap that can be shortened. All in all my son (26) was pleased with it,

Cute, but velcro overload - This bag is very attractive, especially in the plum. It can become VERY heavy at times, which really strains the shoulder (I may need to buy a padded strap for this). Also, I have a thing against velcro. When I'm in class, I don't want to hear velcro bags being opened. I don't want to be that annoying person! I love all the compartments for stuff. I also really love the fact that the inside of the bag is light blue, rather than black, because it makes things much easier to find at the bottom of the bag. Overall a great bag, but I think there should be a version of it available without velcro.

Perfect non-gym bag gym bag - I was looking for a messenger bag to use as a gym bag because I can't get a backpack over my giant winter coat and I needed something convenient for commuting on public transportation. Many gym bags are jumbo size, but this one is just right. No one will grumble at me for taking up too much room on the bus. Plus I just love the plum color.

Very cool look but not enough interior pockets - I got my husband the navy blue with the light blue stripe and it definitely looked cool, but there weren't any interior section dividers. It's literally a messenger bag with a big open space inside, not so good for carrying work back and forth from an office job.

Making my life easier - I ride my bike a lot during the summer, so I needed a bag that wouldn't keep slipping off. This bag is awesome! I love it. It is big enough for me to carry all of my groceries or whatever I need it for, plus it is super comfy.

Great gym/commute bag - This is a great basic bag for getting your stuff to and from work or the gym. The medium is perfect for holding both documents (up to legal size) and a pair of gym shoes and clothes. It is light, tough, and the styling is basic. It doesn't scream glamour and isn't particularly sleek, with its flappy strap closures, but it gets the job done and I've had mine for years.

I got this bag because I'm a student and I spend a lot of time commuting via bus. This bag is amazing because it's waterproof, it holds a TON of stuff, and it's supremely comfortable (no back problems for a change, which basically rocks!). It's also got a really good look for being such an all-purpose bag. This bag is definitely worth the investment, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great bag - First, this is an excellent bag! It's very durable and I am certain bullet proof. Being a student, it is not unusual to carry 4 or 5 texts and assorted junk. This item has room to spare! If it were to be improved, I would take some of the velcro off (I bought some strips to cover mine up) as it's a little noisy when opening. I would also put some rubber backing on the shoulder pad so it doesn't slip when "pursing". I took a long time to pick this bag and compared to about 100 other ones. Overall I am very pleased.

The Timbuk2 messenger bag has a comfortable pad on the strap for the shoulder, and feels comfortable during long commutes. The inside pockets help me to organize those items that usually create a big mess at the bottom of a bag without more than 1 section. I can ride my bike with it as its soft material can tighten and wrap nicely onto my back. So, it’s like a shoulder bag and backpack all in one!

This bag is sturdy and cavernous. Just make sure you need all that space and do not mind the loud velcro sound each time you open it. Otherwise, my wife loves it and carries it everywhere including the grocery store.

I now use the Timbuk2 for my daily bus/bike commute. I'd used a knock-off version for 3 years. The difference in price is well worth it. Every detail was considered in designing and constructing this bag. The interior is light gray, making it easier to find those little things at the bottom of the bag. The shoulder strap is easily adjustable. I could go on. Try one out.

I can't tell you how much I love this bag. The colors on the screen and in person are the same; and the inside is just as advertised. Zappos price and free delivery made the difference with ordering this or finding something else locally.

I've had my Timbuk2 for several years - and love it! It has plenty of room for all my stuff, is extremely durable and comes in fun color combinations. My boyfriend has had his eyes on mine for quite some time and with his birthday quickly approaching; I decided to treat him to one. I shopped around different internet sites and found Zappos to be most competitive in terms of pricing. I also liked the fact that shipping was free, both ways! By far though, the best part of my experience was the delivery process, which couldn’t have been easier. My boyfriend loves his Timbuk2. Zappos was a great experience!
