Overall:

Perfectly warm, as warm as my Uggs. I don't think they have an insole as reported in the description. My friend who has the same size foot as I tried them on and she hated the feel, but she has a bigger ankles, I have reg/small ankles and am wearing them with a fluffy fleece sock. If I could have, I would have gone a .5 size up and added a Uggs Insole and/or welly sock for uber comfort. I'll soon find out how rain proof they are! I'm going to find some other wild color boot laces to spice it up once in a while. Without a doubt they look hot, can be worn above the knee if you flip the fur.

Really love these boots. Super comfy, didn't find them stiff at all. Fits true to size. Thinking of changing out the laces to a plain tan, so they're not so work bootish and might dress them up a bit.

My mom had a similar pair over 30 years ago...how I loved to play "dress-up" in them. Finally found these Timberlands, and they are awesome! Was a little worried about other reviews complaining about being stiff and rigid, but I found mine to be quite the contrary. The boots arrived with one or two of the eyelets skipped in the lace up...think this was no accident because they happened to be at pivot points allowing ankle flexibility. I wore them to football games (really cute with rolled up jeans) both Sat and Sun this past weekend. Extremely comfortable and warm.

Love these! These are super cute and very warm. They are a little hard to get into; you need to wiggle. Tight in the heel and top of foot. Hopefully they will break in nicely.

Stiff! These boots are cute on, but they are STIFF! So stiff, I had a hard time walking in them. I kept them though; thinking maybe one day I'll wear them enough to break in. But I haven't done that yet.

My 9.5 felt a little roomier at lengthwise. I usually go with the recommended length, but because it is a boot it was a little longer than expected. Do not worry, unless you have a really skinny foot. I love the way they feel, can wear them all day, but they do wear you out if they day is long. Bought these to hit the town, but I have been wearing them just out to places. Super important: about the size, the arch fits in the right place, so that makes it very comfortable to wear.

Classic Timberland boots look... love it! I was worried at first that it felt a bit tight, but I think it\'s getting better as I wear it more. It looks really cute w/ jeans. Lastly, I just want to thank Zappos for a speedy delivery :) Zappos is my new favorite place to shop online!!

I got these boots last year and was looking again for more this year, maybe in another color. I got black. Was supposed to get the ones that zipped, but when they came they only laced up. Zappos said they were sorry and offered to take them back, but when I tried them on, I was in love. They never went back. They are so comfortable and warm. Totally weatherproof. Now am looking to get the shorter version. So what if they only lace up? You just have to plan a little better. The laces are strong and not hard to lace up anyway. It only takes a minute and is definitely worth the look! Hot! They are so comfortable, love them!

An attractive and unusual pantolette; runs a bit long, I sized down. Constructed so your toes will never dangle over the edge, comfortable, and rubber over the wood sole, so people can't hear you approaching a mile away. Great sandal, love it in the pink and gold.

I was so excited to get these boots, and got them two days after I ordered them. They are gorgeous and the leather is lovely. One drawback: they didn't fit well and it took forever to lace them up. If you have to go to the bathroom, don't stop to unlace the boots. The boots were extremely stiff and uncomfortable, I couldn't bend my ankle and they chafed my calf and I have skinny legs. High marks for Zappos and the style of the boot. Low to no marks for the fit and comfort.

I was disappointed in the comfort of this boot. I liked the style for a casual outdoor boot, but it really lacks in overall comfort of the foot. The ankle area is a little tight as well. The sizing is very true to size.

Disappointed!Not a very comfortable shoe. Little to no arch support, not a good choice if you stand a lot or walk any distance. Nice look but not very functional.

My second pair of Timberlands and second of this style, first one was navy blue with angora collar (reviewed under my nickname Aloy), size 7.5 and now they seem tight for me. I needed a good waterproof boot for college, since I don\'t wear athletic shoes, and I got these, chocolate color, size 8.5. I\'ve been wearing boots for four years and I have a small collection of them - in addition to the two Timbs I have a pair of CATs and a pair of combat boots I got prior to my CAdT training in high school. Anyway, these Timbs surpassed my expectations... again. Although my second pair was made in China as opposed to my first, made in the Dominican Republic, it matched, if not went beyond, the first pair\'s quality. Even a week in college can cause serious misery to a pair of shoes, but my Timbs held. Rain and mud didn\'t even do anything to them - they came out still clean! My only problem now is a scuff on the right boot that won\'t come off, and I think I may have gotten a half size too big. I\'m a 7 and my shoes are 8, but anticipating further growth (I\'m seventeen) we got the 8.5 to accommodate my growing feet. Best thing to do is wear bulky socks, but other than that, I\'m happy I returned to Timberland, and I\'m proud to say I\'ll still continue doing so in the future. \r\n

I love Timberland products and this is a great shoe as well. I was looking for a semi-professional shoe to wear when I meet with clients. I usually wear kakis and a button down shirt with no tie and I want to wear nicer shoes, but I do a lot of walking. These shoes are very comfy and stylish, well worth the price. I wear regular black socks with these and have had minor problems with them wearing on my heel. I dont know if its just this pair or my socks. It hasnt happened in a while though, so it may have been something else.

These thongs look great! However, they are a little uncomfortable due to the little hump that fits right under the arch in your foot. They are also very light weight.

Nice material and design. Ultimately too 'chunky' for me and for my foot. The linen was very nice but light in color so not terribly practical for someone like me. Nice arch support.

Great Timbs...Very nice, stylish shoe. They feel very comfortable on your foot and have a bowling inspiration in the design. They are versatile in that you can dress them up or down, and they integrate well into different styles.

Different fit - I actually bought this sandal for my partner. It took him a few days to get used to this fit because the "arch" support is different than most sandals. In general he likes them. The leather on the top strap is nice. He got them very dirty in the yard but they washed up good as new under the faucet with a scrub brush. The shoe is on the narrow side, so if you have a wide foot you will be close to the edges. The surface your foot sits on is textured, don't know if you can tell that by the picture. Overall a decent sandal if your main concern is how something LOOKS.

Really great boots, WHEAT shade is a golden sheen & brown w/sheen as well, has lacing in back that will fit any size calf, fur lining comfort. Flexible shaft, BROWN has orange laces. This boot is made of recycled products and environmentally friendly. Australia always makes high quality. Fit is an Australian size but I got my regular size & it works, if any change in size go up 1 size.

Bought these as my daughter's first pair of sneakers at 18 months -- a new walker. They are wonderfully flexible and great for a first walker; however, I have to agree with the previous poster that the velcro closure is a P.I.T.A. It comes undone CONSTANTLY and my now 2-year-old's shoes fall off or she walks right out of them. The closure is a definite design flaw. The remainder of the shoe is great. Washes well and is very cute.

Hot to trot!!!I packed these boots as the only shoe on a weekend trip. I was running around all day at a conference and dancing all night, I was AMAZED at how little my feet hurt after two days of this! Stylish AND Comfortable: you can't ask for better!

Timberand Urban - Perfect for Chicago winters. I found these and ordered them Friday. I received them Monday. They're hot-looking boots! The day after I ordered them, the price was reduced. Zappos immediately credited my account when I called about it. These boots are stylish, even for terrible weather. Great with jeans or leggings. The fit is true to size for me. Perfect for rain, sleet, slush, snow, ice.

They hurt under my ankle bone, but otherwise, I've gotten a lot of compliments. It isn't easy being beautiful.
