These are great boots! They are comfortable to wear right out of the box. My job takes me into landfills almost daily, walking through mud, slime, sharp debris and other nasty things. These boots are holding up very well and with no wet feet!

This work boot rocks! I had a pair of Converse (Composite Toe) and the toe section became loose after only 3 months. When I purchased these shoes, I had no problem with the fit or toes hurting from the composite toe. These are very well built boots and look great. I will purchase again when it comes time.

These are very nice looking boots with a good feel and fit. They are a bit heavier than I anticipated, but in the landscaping/maintenance business this can be a plus. I have yet to put these to work, but look forward to giving them the "acid" test.

So far so good... I picked these up for work, a couple of weeks ago, where site visits are regular and steel toes are a must. Out of the box, they have been extremely comfortable with a minimal break in period. I’ve been finding these very useful in the recent snow storms where the water proof boot has been water proof. I’m on the site to order another pair right now. I figure that one day they’ll give out and I’ll have my replacement pair waiting for that day. I assume that it will take a while break out the new pair as these Timbos are very well built.

I use these boots for work (utilities) and so far (1 month) they've performed great. I hope to not report on the steel toe or EH rating, but so far the waterproof membrane hasn't leaked. Rugged styling which is functional... I like the external toe coverings since I tend to be rough on bare leather. These are scuff free so far. They are a bit heavy with the standard steel toe, but haven't caused any fatigue. The dual threading options for the laces (at the top) make for quick fastening. Bottom line: When I'm ready for new boots, Timberland Pro is where I'll start.

This product does not represent a boot worthy of the name Professional. I received my first pair on 1/27/10. This pair was exchanged and my replacement pair arrived on 3/4/10. A month later my replacement pair is falling apart. The rubber toes on both pairs is/has fallen off. Both pairs experienced separation between the leather and sole. With this separation, the waterproofing fails. These boots were worn daily for work for a minimum of 12 hours. I am on my feet for the majority of the day. The comfort level would have been higher except for the multiple times I experienced wet feet. In dry conditions they are comfortable. I would strongly suggest you look into another pair of boots if you have the potential to encounter the conditions I do. These include: walking a mile or more daily in loose footing/rock, climb in and out of machines, walk-in mud, snow, grass, clay, rock, sand, and rain. Or some super glue and boot waterproofing, your choice.

So, I ordered these boots late Thursday night, and I did not ask for quick shipping; however, I received them Friday afternoon. Almost the same day! This is the 3rd pair of boots I ordered from Zappos and I will continue to do so in the future. As for the boots themselves, I don't know much yet. I have had 4 other pairs of Timberlands and have always really liked them. Nothing compares for comfort fight out of the box. My last boots were Docs, and i did like them but they were very bulky compared to Timberlands. I wore them around a little bit and the size feels right. They are very well built and I know they will last. BTW, I am an industrial electrician, on my feet 8-15 hrs a day so my boots have to hold up. I like all of the safety features of Timberlands and they always are updating the features. I am exited to try them out on Monday.

Orange part on front coming off, and sole coming off a little at the seam to leather. No leaks, only cosmetic. Very comfortable. Was wearing Payless brand Rugged Outback. Was in a lot of pain, now I feel good.

Great work boot! Unbelievably comfortable. Love the rubberized toe cap and heel. Virtually eliminates wear and tear (especially on the toe) such as I've experienced on previous boots. Haven't had them on yet in the rain but have no doubts they live up to being waterproof. Highly recommended.

The shoes are nice and solid. Zappos got them to me in the twinkling of an eye! I was pretty surprised. The shoes are reasonable comfortable. The only downside is the weight, but what can you expect from a steel toed\/shank boot? Overall, excellent. I\'m very pleased. If you have worn Timberlands before, the sizing is the same.

Exactly as advertised and comfortable with solid construction. A bit on the heavy side but what would you expect from a steel toed boot.

This is the second pair of these boots I've purchased in the last 3 years. Worth every penny. Comfortable and durable. Lots of padding. I operate sewage pumping stations for the County during the week and go Geocaching on weekends. I golf in them. Did I mention they were comfortable? Okay, they're leather, which makes them a little heaver than the lighter, fabric sided boots. In my business, I deal with cast iron parts. Plus, I like waterproof boots. One never knows what one might be walking in.

These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. They beat the heck out of the Red Wings I had last. My only complaint is that they are very heavy. As always Zappos was a pleasure doing business with.

We bought these for my brother-in-law, who works as a journeyman electrician. He has extremely wide feet, and is highly allergic to the dye used in most boots. We tried to find these boots in a lighter (camel) color, but they are not made. So far (it's been about a month) they work wonderfully - no allergic reactions, fit his feet well, seem to be keeping with his crazy schedule/duties. All of this in 100+ degree weather. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a quality work boot at a good price point.

Well, best pair of boots I have ever bought. I'm on my foot 12 hours a day lifting, carrying, pulling, climbing. They're comfortable and sturdy. Along with the waterproof, they're great. I gave them 4 stars. The reason being for such a great boot they have one drawback for me and it appears most others. That is they are heavy boots. I read them in the reviews as being heavy but said how heavy can they be and I would get use to the weight of them. 3 weeks later I'm not quite used to them but they are wearable and do the job of comforting and protecting my feet. I'd recommend them.

My grandson is a size 14 and Zappos is almost the only place to buy, after shopping Zappos for awhile now and I would not even look elsewhere. Fastest shipping on any site, best value and fit. I would highly recommend Zappos.

I am a delivery driver and am running up and down a ramp in and out of the trailer of a semi truck all day. I bought these boots hoping to finally find a boot that would hold up and be comfortable all day and I found it. The rubber on the toe is nice, too. I handle skids all day and the rubber toe cap takes the abuse of dropping skids on it and kicking the skids around all day unlike a leather toe that gets all torn up. The only down side to this shoe is that it needs a MUCH deeper and aggressive tread on the sole. I have had these just over 6 months and I have almost worn out the tread already.

I work on cars 8 hours a day. These boots were comfy right out of the box. Usually I have trouble finding a steel toe boot the doesn't rub blisters on my feet, these boots feel like heavy tennis shoes; they are great. This is my first pair of Timberlands and I will stick with them for my next pair.

These work boots are as comfortable as described in other reviews. Feels almost like a tennis shoe. Tough and durable looking for the tough man, but yet as comfy as a pair of slippers.
