My boyfriend had asked for a different work boot, but after reading the specifics of this 1 I got it instead. He was irritated until he put them on. He loves them! He said they feel soft & squishy inside (apparently that's a good thing). He swears he wouldn't trade these boots for any other kind. Also, I didn't realize, the sole is protective as well...no more nails in the foot when accidentally stepped on while working. No break in time. And, they look kind of cool. Not bulky and Frankenstein looking. Definite recommend. If I could give them more than a 5 star rating for comfort, I would. He's walking around singing song's about his new work boots & says they don't feel cumbersome, they feel more like his favorite already broke in tennis shoes.

These boots are not worth the money. First day wearing them it rained a bit they leaked, also hard to lace up, there plain uncomfortable. I am in boots 12hrs a day, if you are too don't buy these. Redwings are the way to go.

True to fit, sturdy, and incredibly comfortable...these boots were made for heavy duty work. Unfortunately, these boots do not go well with my strong desire to be lazy, as they nearly taunt me to pull all-nighter home improvement projects!

These boots are great. Comfortable right out of the box and very well made. I spend a lot of time on a ladder and these boots are very supportive in the arch. All day comfort. Zappos is the best. I wish all online purchases were so convenient.

My husband goes through a pair of work boots a year; the leather wears through to the steel toes. He was able to wear these boots for a full shift straight out of the box; no complaints about having to break them in. Better yet, when he dropped a heavy metal panel on his toes these boots came through 100% unscathed. The double toe really made a difference. He said these work boots are the best he has ever worn and are well worth the premium price. He wears a smallish size, so in the past it has been a frustrating hassle finding stores that carry his size in the style he wants. Zappos is great for a guy who hates to spend his time shopping!

I bought this boot for a trip overseas to Liberia, West Africa. It's rainy season so 'work shoes' ain't cuttin' it. These workhorses move easily from 90 degree sunlit days downtown to gentle drizzle on dusty backroads to grinding downpours on the beach for sand-mining ops. Essentially, these awesome utility boots felt like really sturdy sneakers, if a bit on the heavy side. I give these Tims a full five stars across the board. (Tims tend to run a size large so I usually buy one size smaller than what I wear for Nike.)
