Best boots - I'm a contractor and on my feet all day long. I've been wearing timberland boots for 6 years now and they don't need breaking in, are comfortable and last a long time.

Timberland likes and dislikes - Boot is comfortable and warm, but is taking it's time to break-in. Good socks are a must at this stage.

Too Wide - The shoe is beautiful, but stiff and a little too wide. I originally ordered a 13 wide and it was like swimming in the ocean, so I then ordered a 13 medium. I normally have a wide foot, and thse 13 M's were still too wide. I guess I'm stuck with them and can't use them since I have worn them outside

Timberland PRO's Direct Attach 6" Soft Toe - I bought these boots for my teen daughter. We couldn't be happier with the product. As a matter of fact, it all started with an earlier delivery than expected. The boots were in excellent condition right out of the box. She wore them the same day with only compliments from others and she spoke of the comfort. We will without a doubt, buy from Zappos.com again in the future.

Rating the Timberland PRO Soft Toe - I purchased this shoe for my son. He was overjoyed at the comfortable fit, and the well structured style. The leather is not too soft and definitely not too tight -- it's perfect. This shoe will definitely suit the purpose for which it was purchased, and last for years to come.

Good durable boot. The boot is real rugged and durable. It is very stiff and needs to be broken in. The boot is very warm so you are ready to take them off after a hot day. It is a very good boot though and very comfortable.

Working Man - Excellent comfort and quality. It lasted me a year. Only complaint is its waterproof ability which lasted only a few months.

TImberland Pro boots - Have been wearing these boots for 2 years and still have much life left. Just polish and they will continue to look like new. A bit stiff, but fits orthotics well and the rigidity helps keep the foot from flexing if you experience foot pain. Wear every day in a foundry, so it gets some pretty heavy use. Extra thick sole.

Timberland Boots and Zappos Service - The 8 1/2 boot had a little bit more room inside then desired, but still felt good and I kept it. The 8 was a bit small which I had to return. The shipment was quick and the return policy that I utilized is an excellent. I did not like having to return, since it waste your money and time, but this case I had to. I might order the 8 1/2 boot in brown in the near future. Excellent service. Thanks.

Impressed - After Knapp started making their ATVs in china I searched for a boot in the $100.00 range that I could spend all day in at work and also wear casually. I like it so much I bought a second pair from a different company because Zappos was sold out of them. If you can get your hands on a pair, buy 2!

Big, Heavy, Warm, Long-lasting - This runs a little big in size, but in winter that's ok since you want a little air pocket to trap the warmth. This is an excellent snow boot and a decent street boot. The sole is amazing and after two salty Chicago winters it shows little wear. I think it must be the best sole material I've seen besides Dr. Martens.
