Let's put it this way. I'm a plumber; I have been in it all! This will be the fifth pair of these boot I'll be buying. I have a wide foot and these feel great. I get home and forget to take them off.

Great boots and the fastest delivery ever! My old soft toe Timberland had more than run their course, so I decided to upgrade to a steel toe. At work I spend most of my time on my feet, offloading tractor trailers so I needed something that could protect my feet and were comfortable, too. I couldn't have ordered anything better! I placed my order on a Wednesday night and the boots arrived around lunch time the very next day! Zappos always comes through with the fastest delivery!

This is my second pair of the Pit Boss boots.\r\nI work outdoors in a lot of mud and water and in a shop with heavy equipment. These boost are very comfortable while giving me the support and protection I need for my job. They are also great for hiking down the trout stream. I will continue to buy these boots about every 3-4 years when I wear them out.

First of all, they are a great looking boot. Nothing flashy and not alot of logos. The steel toe is low profile but doesn\'t crowd my toes. They don\'t look like steel toe boots.\r\nThey are stiff when new. They took about 4 to 5 days to break in, but now they are very comfortable. They also seem very rugged and should last a long time. The soles have a good pattern without huge lugs.\r\nThe fit seemed to match the size. I usually wear a 10 and the 10\'s fit perfectly.\r\nVery happy with this boot.

Have had a pair for 3 years now...
I got these boots in the spring of 2006 as I was working in automotive shops and needed something rugged, comfortable, and protective. They fit great out of the box and held up for two straight years of hard work. I use them now out in the yard or when I need the extra toe protection (moving)...Great shoe for a great price!

My husband loves Timberland boots. However, this is the first time that he had them that they weren't comfortable from the first time he put them on. On his right ankle there is a support that rubs, and has chaffed so much it has made it raw. He doesn't want to give up the shoes, so he has bent the support away from his ankle so he can continue to wear the boots.

These boots are great -
These boots are great. I’ve worn a pair to work every day for three years now and not one seam is loose. These boots are comfortable rite out of the box, but if you really want incredible comfort, throw in a pair of foam inserts and they’re amazing. (Zappos.com has sweet SUPPER FAST SHIPPING.)

Decent enough boot -
I bought this boot based on the reviews attesting to its comfort. It's a decent boot but not nearly as comfortable as Dr. Martens, it’s also not nearly as expensive as docs. While they are comfortable enough and don't hurt my feet I probably would not buy them again. I will try some different insoles to help them. The real drawback was the 2 weeks it took to break them in, didn't wear them every day during break in. I would recommend them but if you want a real comfortable boot try Dr. Martens.

Nice boots, after I got them broke in. I had to switch back and forth between my old boots and these the first few days. After they were broke in they are nice. I did put in inserts to give me a little more sole support. Feel good on my feet, not heavy like some steel toe boots. Love Zappos. Great services very fast delivery. Love the 365 day returns.

This is a really comfortable shoe/boot. I work in an office mostly, and now I wear these whenever I don't have to meet with clients. Jeans and boots go a tad lineman or hip-hop for me, but other than that, great shoes. I'll be sad when Summer comes and I can't wear them anymore. PS. I bought them wide as others have recommended.

These boots really look nice while containing all that a sturdy work boot needs. These actually look more like dirty bucks when worn under long pants and yet they are tough enough for work. The steel toe is there, but you can't tell. Really a great looking boot that goes from work to play.

This is my first pair of the Pit Boss, and if I had the money, I'd buy a second pair! The break in time was minimal. For me it took 3 to 7 days to break in!! Much more comfortable than my last pair of work boots!!

1ST TIME PURCHASER -
All steel toe boots are a tad tighter and you need to order with this in mind. This boot is very comfortable. I have been in sub-zero weather for hours and my feet were warm. It is very waterproof. The buff look will hold up well. Not good for running in. This is probably because the structural support built into the boot makes it stiffer. It is however very comfortable to walk in and to stand in.
