Another great product from Timberland - I've had plenty of Timberlands. They are the best! I wear them for work, school and just general knocking around in. My summer job is working the asphalt crew paving streets. These boots take that kind of abuse and keep my feet comfortable all day. If they weren't covered with tar, I could just wear them right out in the evening for running around. You can't beat Timberland comfort and durability. This pair is no exception. I get a pair in the fall for college, wear them thru the winter, then wear them right into the summer for work, then the cycle starts again. I'll be back for more when this pair wears out.
Brands I'd also recommend: Any Timberland shoe, hikers as well as boots.

Great all around boot for everyday wear - I've been wearing the Pit Boss for a long time and find it the most comfortable shoe to wear for bad back/hip/double jointed ankles. My only complaint is that the ankel support wears out before the rest of the boot, but I still get a good three months out of a pair, which is better than I do only any other type or brand of shoe or boot. It's really a shame about the ankle support not lasting longer because the rest of the boot is good for at least six months of daily wear. Other than that, the boots are a tad heavy, weighing in at four pounds the pair, but if you have strong thighs or want to strengthen your thighs it's a plus. For those of you looking for Pit Boss Pro's go to Boot Country and save $16.00 over Zappos price. Boot Country also gives free shipping.
Brands I'd also recommend: any other timberland... wear my PitBoss's as hikers too... better support and protection, grip as good, half the price

Stay with a good thing. These shoes were a replacement for a pair of other Pro Series boots. They served me for three years of hard wear. I expect these will do the same.

Love Zappos service - Both my mother and I ordered from Zappos and were thrilled with the service and speed in which the products were shipped and delivered. I looked for these type of boots all over the internet and could not find them at a reasonable price. This was the best selection, price and service by far over local and internet retailers.

Pleasantly surprised - For Christmas, I had wanted to order the Timberland Pro 6" Pit Boss soft toe for my fiance however, when contacting Timberland directly, they did not have his size (12W) available. Luckily, I found Zappos and not only did they have the shoes in stock but I received them within 3days. My fiance was very surprised and has found the shoes to be both comfortable and superior in quality. Thank you!!

Great Boots - The color(dark brown) is so rich, it looks like you could eat them. I bought them for my brother for Christmas. When he opened them he was soo pleased. He says they are very comfortable and look great!

Timberland Pro 6" Pit Boss - I received the boots pretty quick. I noticed that a few days after I ordered them the price went up 2.95. Also if you order these boots you should check the size. I ordered a wide width and even though the box said wide the shoes were a medium width.

Timberland PRO 6" Pit Boss Soft Toe! Upon receiving the "Timberland PRO 6" Pit Boss Soft Toe" they felt pretty good but as the days passed the left boot started to hurt my left foot arch so I am now returning them..

Pitt Boss is a go anywhere work boot - This boot is great. I've worn it in 4 inch deep mud while turkey shooting as well as during an all day sight-seeing tour of Washington DC. While a bit heavy for 6 miles of touring the monuments, my feet stayed dry while everyone elses got wet.
Brands I'd also recommend: just get these in a different color

awesome! I wore these boots while renovating my bathroom. Within a week, they look like my favorite work boots...covered in mortar & grout! Great support, always very comfortable, and I never damaged any toes during the construction process! :-)

Very comfortable. I'm working hard every day on construction,spending long hours standing 'n walking. This boots are not only 5 stars, are healthy. 3 months ago I bought another brand boots, and pain on my back I began to feel, I just get this Timberland 'n my pain gone.
