My son wears a double wide shoe. Stride Rite stopped making double wide shoes. I couldn't find his size anywhere. I figured I would give the wide Timbs a shot being it's a high quality name. I am so happy that his foot slid right into this shoe. I tried so many other brands of wide shoes and everything I put on his feet he complained they were too tight. This shoe is awesome...it is a little heavy but I am so happy I was able to find him a boot.

I love these hiking boots! Comfortable enough for long hikes and they keep my feet dry while hiking through tall wet grass as well as wading through mud puddles. They have great traction as well. These have become my favorite shoes and I wear them at least 3 days a week. Highly recommended.

Excellent boots! Well packaged and in good shape. I did A LOT of "trying on" and Zappos no shipping policy really helped me "try on" at an "online shoe store." Back and forth. Back and forth. I decided on the Timberland because they offer a very roomy toe.

I bought these shoes for my boys. They are wonderful. I cannot think of a single complaint. The fit was great, even with my son’s very wide feet. Beautifully constructed. They look like they will last longer than they will fit his feet! Very happy with this purchase. My son thinks they are cool, too, and he is picky. We bought 2 pairs, one in brown and one in grey for each boy.

Great Children's Hiking boots are hard to find! We searched for a tough, hiking boot for our son at several locations. We could not find anything, until we stumbled upon these Timberland's on Zappos. It has been a great boot. Very well constructed & water proof, not just water resistant. It ran true to size & we have been very pleased with the shoe. I am sure we will order it again next year once he outgrows this pair. We highly Recommend these shoes! We received them within 24 hours of our order. Excellent service from Zappos!

Perfect shoes for outdoor activities. The kids liked them. Went to the woods for 3 hours and they didn't complain once.

A Perfect Kids Boot - This boot is not only good looking but functional too. My son wears these in rain, sleet, snow and sunshine and whatever the weather these boots hold up!! They look great and keep his feet warm and dry. A Winter, Spring and Fall Must Have!

These were great boots, but the regular width was too narrow for my son. He doesn't have wide feet, normally, but the soles and the ankle part were too narrow. They didn't come in a wide width in his size.

I love these Hiking boots! I wanted something that my son could wear on cold, messy days, when regular winter boots were not needed. They are so soft and comfortable, they keep his feet warm and dry, but he says "They are not hot and stuffy." They look really nice on too. He normally wears a youth's 12 but he needed a W. They did not have 12W at the time so we got the 12½W and they fit great.
