Overall:

Not impressed with these boots at all. First of all, they are way too big for my toddler, though I chose the right size for him. He feels so uncomfortable wearing them and keeps loosening on the shoes. Then they are not really waterproof. On the first day my son was wearing them, his feet got wet, though I made sure he didn't step in any of the puddles. I should have returned them right away.

Overall:

Sturdy, tough shoe for the active boy. Easy to tie tight/snug throughout the middle of the foot as the laces slide easily through the loops. Some boots are difficult for an 8 yr old to slip on as well as tie tightly by themselves but this boot is ideal for the independent child.

Overall:

I bought these in the brown color for my 3rd grader and she loves them! They are very stylish and comfortable; they look great with jeans and also with dresses/skirts. A very versatile and well-made boot, I'm very glad I purchased it.

My 8 year old daughter has the pink ones. We liked the fact that they are waterproof and she says they are very cozy. Another plus is that they have a side zipper so it's easy to put on. Cute with leggings and skirts.

Bought these for my daughter, her 1st pair of snowboots. Easy on/off and the velcro is strong so she cannot easily undo them and take them off like she does all her other shoes. Wanted well constructed boot that was waterproof, but that she could walk around in without being too restrictive. Well made and good fit. I would recommend these for anyone with an active little one.

Mom of a big three year old. These boots are beautiful. The suede and designed stitching, makes my little one feel like a big girl. They are narrow; however, not a problem because I always buy her shoes 1 size bigger because I can always double the socks or get thick ones. They feel warm, but she has yet to test them. This shoe is great with the current skinny jeans trend, and they make your feet look so small. They are kind of hard to get on her feet because of the width, but once she gets it on, its hop scotch for her. She doesn't complain, so I assume they are perfect. Will write back when the cold weather rolls in, and let you know if it stood up to the wintry conditions of NYC.

I purchased these boots for my nephew. Not only are the adorable, but they have parent pleasing features like no tie laces and removable insole in case the child grows during the season. The boots are durable and adorable. Would highly recommend it. Great value for the money and are obviously hand-me-downable!

I bought these boots for my daughter based on price - we needed some water-resistant hiking boots that didn\'t break the budget. The boots met my expectations, and my daughter loves them. She says the boots are comfortable. My only complaint is that the shoe laces don\'t stay tied very well, no matter how tight I make the knot.

I bought these in brown for my 4th grader and in charcoal gray for my kindergartner. Both of my girls love them! They are great quality and fit well. One has wide feet and one has thin feet and they both love the feel and fit of the boots! I think that will definitely last though fall and winter, it's worth the buy. Also they're very much in style; the whole riding boot look goes great with jeans, flowered skirts and even dresses.

Great shoe! Since it is a slip-on, my son likes that he can quickly put it on and take it off. Well made and very durable for active toddlers.

Our toddler wants to be a paleontologist for Halloween so we purchased these boots in wheat nubuck to complete the look and she absolutely loves them! They arrived quickly, were the right size (which we were concerned about, not having worn Timberline before) and are comfortable enough for her to play and jump around in.

My 4 1/2 year old loves these shoes. He calls them his "Snazzy Shoes" and wants to wear them even with his sweatpants! They really are great looking and are tough enough for some outdoor playground activity if your son insists wearing them like mine does! Plus he loves how easy they are to get on and off. Dress 'em up or down, they're great.

I ordered these boots for my 4 year old grandson. He absolutely loves them. He wears a wide shoe, and wides are hard to find. I order all of his shoes from Zappos. His Daddy has a trucking company and now he can look just like Daddy. They are a great boot, the wides fit well, and I noticed a big smile on his face as soon as he tried them on. Great boot.

Purchased for my twins. They are picky, but these were an instant hit. Great looking and well made. One tiny wish, should have put the faux lambs wool lining inside the whole boot.

Bought these boots for my 6th grader for his week long trip up north. Thought that they’d take awhile to "break in"... but he said that they were comfortable right from the start. He also said that his feet were kept nice and warm during the early morning hikes. Thumbs up.

You get what you pay for. These stylish hiking boots not only looks good, but performs well too! My son just came back from a camping trip and his feet and ankles are intact after rigorous hiking and he said they were comfortable! Good buy!

I have 2 active boys, same size foot. I bought this shoe for one of them and the school issue for the other. While these appear to be super comfortable, they have not held up at all. We started school on August 17 and today I am having to purchase another pair per the school principal. I am shocked at the way these Timerberlands have held up. They are overly scuffed, the leather is peeling and they look awful! I would expect them to look like this after 6 - 8 months and not 1 month!

These boots are perfect for my 22 month old son. We live on a farm in Kentucky, and they are perfect for the outdoors. He is currently measuring a 7 wide in toddler sizes, so I ordered them in 7.5 W to try to squeeze a couple extra months of wear out of them. He loves wearing them and they are comfortable for him despite the extra space at the toe. They definitely fit true to size. I love that they are available in a wide size. He needs wide widths and there are not that many boots available in toddler sizes in wide. My son has been clomping around the house saying, "boots, boots!" and pointing excitedly to his new boots that look exactly like his dad's. They are very well made and will keep his feet warm and dry this fall and winter. I definitely plan on buying the next size when he has outgrown these. They are well worth the expensive price tag. Plus, shipping was ultra-fast. I ordered them at 11 p.m. one night and they were delivered 36 hours later. Cannot beat that kind of excellent customer service!
