Great shoe, I have only worn them three times and so far they are super comfortable. I jogged up eight flights of stairs the other day and they felt more like running shoes. They required no break in time what so ever. They work out great as I work in a casual office and I wear them with jeans and a polo.

Seem to be well made; however, I have one problem with the stitching and padding on the back near the ankle. It protrudes so that there is a lump that is not very comfortable after you walk for a bit. I don't believe they are worth the price tag, Dockers are more comfortable.

Planning for a three week trip to Europe that will involve both a lot of walking and occasional dress up occasions, I was looking for a shoe that could do double duty, and I found it in this one. It's comfortable (even with my orthotics in it), good-looking, and appears quite durable. It was just what I wanted.

As others have stated, the color is a bit darker than the picture. The only complaint I have is the laces that come with the shoe. They are far too long for a casual dress shoe. They are longer than the laces on my basketball shoes!

This is about as plain looking of a shoe you will ever see, but I like that about it! The insole that comes in this shoe is thicker than usual, so it makes the shoe fit a bit smaller/tighter. I had an old pair of Timberland Earthkeepers which I removed the insole from. I basically just swapped the insoles from the old shoes to the new shoes! It worked out very well. If you're going to order a pair of these and don't want to have to swap out the insoles, then just simply order a half size bigger! I generally like the fit, comfort, and style of Timberland Shoes I used to wear only Doc Martens. Doc Martens are without a doubt, the most durable and well made shoe in the world! Only thing is, they can be quite heavy to lug around all day! This particular Timberland shoe is quite similar to a Doc Marten shoe in appearance, but feels much lighter on the feet. And of course I bought them at Zappos. Zappos service is ridiculous. By ridiculous I mean over the top wonderful! I am completely blown away every time I deal with Zappos! If you work hard for your money like I do, you want to spend it with someone who deserves your business. There's never been a hesitation in my mind when it comes to ordering shoes from these folks!

I bought these in black and they look great. Really comfortable and cool. I'm thinking of also buying in brown. I didn't like the laces though, they are too long and thick, so I bought new ones for like 79 cents and it was a big improvement for the look of these shoes.

This is a great shoe - very comfortable, great support, fits true to size. I spend a lot of time on my feet, and these shoes a perfect for that.

These are a great pair of casual shoes! I've never owned Timberlands before, but I'm hooked. They are super comfortable, nice looking, and very light. They also provide great arch support. Perfect for city walking!

I wanted some day-to-day work shoes with an oxford style and that had a sturdy sole and good arch support - something I couldn't find in a women's shoe, for some reason. Luckily, my feet are just big enough for the 7 men's. These have not let me down yet after a month of wear! Very pleased.

I was looking for a replacement for Sketchers Alley Cat, which I have I have given up on, as they do not last (less than six months). I bought the Timberland, knowing, that yes that they cost more, but their past reputation convinced me to buy. At first, I thought that they were too tight, but after a few days of break-in, they have turned out to be among the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I would have given them five stars,but the break-in was discouraging at first. I would buy these same shoes in a heart-beat. In order to break them in you should wear them very loose around the house for a few nights. A few deep knees bends will not hurt either. Of course, Zappos rocks beyond rocking. They delivery virtually overnight, at no charge!

Looks nice and feels good. Great if your job does not require constant walking, I tried it for 6 hours walking/moving without sitting down but didn't find it comfortable for that.

I've been wearing these Timberlands for about a month now, and so far I'm very happy with them. They are comfortable, they fit well, and they're considerably lighter than they appear. The style is great, too: as oxfords, they're suitable for everyday office wear, but the hint of boot styling makes them look just a little more rugged and casual. Great shoes, especially for the price.

Generally happy but the leather wears more like a boot, with some dullness setting in fairly quickly. Be prepared to shine these regularly if you want them to look like the photo.
