Great Sandals! This sandal is just awesome! The style is great, but the main reason I own this sandals is for the unmatched comfort it provides. No other sandal has ever made my feet feel like royalty. The only problem I have is that the Timberland trademark isn't as conspicuous as it should be!

What you see is what you get! These shoes are the max in comfort. I had been having discomfort under the balls of both large toes. This shoe comes with a contoured footbed and extra support for ball of big toe. Have previously worn Joseph Seibel sandals, and these are similar except a bit more cushy and about 25-dollars less. Service through Zappos was top notch - best online experience ever!

You can stop fishing for the top sandal, this is the one! I have to wear orthotics and it has always been a real chore finding "the perfect sandal". Until now. I'm on my feet a lot, on concrete and brick flooring. These Timberlands have given my feet new life. Highly recommended!!!

I live in South Florida. I have the luxury of showing up to work in shorts and t-shirt if I choose. I've always wore Nike Brand Running shoes for comfort and opted to buy something different for a change. In a nutshell, these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I even had a girl in my office ask me about them for her boyfriend.

Comfy - I really like wearing these shoes; they are closer to real shoes than sandals, but they look good and are comfortable so I wear them a lot. I give them an 8 on a ten point scale.

Cushy Shoe - These shoes are very cushey and comfortable. I thought they would be comfortable but I really didn't realize how cushy they would be. They are a real pleasure to wear and the cross between being casual and somewhat dressed up allows me to wear them almost anywhere.

Very comfortable - I have size 15, narrow foot (one and a half sizes narrower than medium) and these are a bit too wide for me. I'd say they are a true medium width. Length is almost true, a bit longer than most other 15's I've had. Also tried size 14 of this same sandal fits but my toes are touching, although one could wear them if not taking long walks--the toes are still fully stretched and would be comfortable when seated or for short walks (I'm returning the 14 though and keeping the 15, even though there are a bit larger than I'd like). Very comfortable and look fine enough to pass as business casual shoe.

Wonderful vacation shoe. I bought these shoes to go on vacation: 3 weeks in France. Let me tell you, they never disappointed me! I put a lot of miles on them, and they were still comfortable each time I slipped them on. Very versatile: by day, you can wear them horseback-riding, and by night, out to dinner. Excellent choice.

Best sandals ever! Love these shoes! I always have a problem with sandals--the ones that are most comfortable aren't nice enough to wear with anything but shorts and the ones that are a bit nicer (business casual) are highly uncomfortable. These are terrifically versatile and feel like a favorite pair of sneakers

This is a shoe that you can wear for business casualt, to wear for casual, and to take long walks in. Fits very well, comfortable. Some sandals do not look right for busines wear, these do. Not really an equal product that I have seen.

Size - Normally wear 8 ordered size 7 and it still seems a tad large. Great shoe but order a full size smaller than normal.

Timberland Review - Timberland Altamont Closed Toe/Closed Back Fisherman. The up side to this shoe is that it is a good looking well styled shoe that can be worn to any occasion. The down side is a little disappointing for a Timberland product. The shoe is made in China along with may other shoe company's today and when comparing the shoe to other company same style the shoe is a little over priced. The shoe is 1/2 size larger then the normal US sizes and you can feel the 3 ribs from the under sole when the shoe is first warn, something your foot gets used to after being warn awhile. To be quite candid the shoe is nothing more then an up scaled styled tennis shoe made and constructed to look like a sandal.

Nice Find! Good to find a good looking and supportive sandal for a walk on rough terrain. Wish I could get one in a tan or bone for a very warm climate.
