I love Zappos, but these shoes are the worst I’ve tried! The heel area is unreasonably wide, the toe box is cramped and narrow. If the top of your foot is narrower than your heel, these shoes are for you! Thank goodness Zappos accepts returns – I’ll have to try again. Thanks for standing behind your products, Zappos!

The dance shoes fit ordering my normal shoe size, and buying them wide made them comfortable the first time I wore them to dance class. Unfortunately, the next time we went dancing it was very hot so I chose to not wear nylon stockings and got terrible blisters from the shoes. I will not be able to wear the shoes again until the blisters heal. If I put something to cushion the heel area I think these shoes will be fine. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service this company provides. I deliberately order from Zappos verses other dance shoe companies because they are rare in that you do not have to pay postage coming or returning and reordering.

Good comfortable theater shoe - The pair of these I received included one shoe with the instep strap cut way too short. Even on the very slender actress I bought them for, it didn't even reach the buckle. Fortunately, I needed to replace that strap with elastic for a fast costume change, so it wasn't an issue for me. The shoe is a bit frumpy-looking, which again was fine for the character on stage, but it's a bit dowdy for real life. Very comfortable, though!

Great Dance Shoe! Fantastic shoe!-I recently started taking dance lessons and needed a comfortable dance shoe-despite some unfavorable reviews, the shoe has nice cushioning, was very well constructed and there was no need to break them in and was reasonably priced! Also the sueded bottom helps with turning and allows you to glide without slipping-One last comment- it's nice to know these shoes are made right here in upstate New York!

Great shoe for work - I have to wear orthotic inserts. This shoe style fits my needs with style. Finally, a pair of shoes to wear with dresses. The heel is a bit narrow and takes getting used to. Wish it were a touch wider.

Perfect Dancing Shoes - I am so pleased with this purchase. The shoes are so comfortable and really look nice, also. I have had a lot of compliments and questions on where I have found them...Zappos, of course, the best shoe store!

Because of foot problems, I recently wore these little practice shoes during a competition. They not only felt good but performed on the dance floor very well. My highest compliments to Zappos for the quality of the shoes they carry and also the quality of the service has been outstanding.

Dance Shoes - I've been looking for comfortable, attractive, low-heeled dance shoes for quite a while. I think I've found them with theses shoes. I haven't yet danced in them, but they are comfortable around the house, and they fit the bill otherwise. I added a cushioned inner sole, which helped customize the fit and felt better under the ball of my foot.

Great comfort - This shoe type was a great pick for me. I don't mind not wearing a higher heel. The shoe looks dressy or casual and feels comfortable. When I'm at dance class or at a social dance, I'm confident that it was a step in the right direction.

Lola Critique - This is without a doubt the most comfortable dance shoe I have ever worn. I have suffered foot pain (Morton's Neuroma) for years and have purchased over 50 pairs of dance shoes, looking for a comfortable shoe -- I have now found it! The combination of the low heel and full foot support make 4 hours of ballroom (or even polka) dancing a breeze! My feet feel as good at the end of the evening as they did when I entered the ballroom.

Very Comfortable Dancing Shoes - These shoes have worked out great. They are very comfortable for dancing and I even wear them in the office as well... I wear an 8.5 to 9.5 depending on the shoe and I bought these in a 9.5. I probably should have gotten a 9, but I put a ladies insole in for padding and that has helped a lot. Great Shoes!!

Good dance shoe - I just started dancing and didn't want to spend too much money on an all around dance shoe. This shoe turned out to be pretty cute and is comfortable.

Comfortable, well-made, better than Capezio Student Footlight - I bought these shoes as a semi-replacement for my Capezio Student Footlight shoes. The heel appears to be made of some kind of softer plastic or vinyl, as compared to the Capezio Footlights, which have harder heels. These heels have a surprising amount of give, and because the heel is low enough you feel more like you're standing on midfoot rather than your toes. I attended a waltz ball and wore these shoes all night. Normally I take orthotics, however, I experienced no pain while wearing these shoes, and my feet weren't as tired as when I wear the Footlights. The shoes appear to be made well, and I like the look better than the Footlights. Caution though, there is absolutely no arch support. These shoes flex a lot in the middle. Other people advised to purchase this brand a size up, but going by Zappos size guide, I measured my foot and ordered both the recommended size and a size up, and the recommended size, which is also my normal size, is the one that fit. I recommend people measure their feet and order this brand by the Zappos size guide.

First of all this is an American made shoe which are very difficult to find and purchase; I only wish there were more styles and brands to select from through Zappos. The shoe is very comfortable and keeps the foot secure. It does take an extra second to apply the strap through the buckle. The size is smaller than your normal sizes and narrow is really narrow so I would recommend getting a larger shoe size and width. Keep them snug though because they will stretch.

Poor dance shoe - I really wanted to like this shoe. I am an avid dancer, especially all kinds of swing. This shoe should have been perfect, but after 3 nights of dances (only 10 hours) the heel broke off from the shoe. This is a very bad shoe.

"Lola" is perfect for narrow feet - I had this very same shoe ordered from Tic-Tac-Toe about 10 years ago and practically wore it out, but as I've gotten older, my foot has actually grown lengthwise, and the 7AA was too short; my toe actually hit the very end. I've tried other brands of practice shoes in medium widths and my foot would just slide down and my toe would still hit the end because they were too wide. I found this very same shoe at Zappos in a 7-1/2AA after looking everywhere. I ordered it and absolutely love it. It fits like a glove and is an answer to my prayers. I am a line dance instructor and while I wear the dance sneakers (several brands) for class, there are times when I want a dressier look. We live in a retirement community with lots of parties and dancing, and I needed a really comfortable dancing shoe that looked good. These are perfect for anyone with a narrow foot.

Very Comfy - These are my favourite shoes. I can’t wear 3 inch heels anymore, so these shoes are perfect. It's my second pair and when these are worn down, I will order them again. I take a size 7 and a half in latin shoes. With this shoe, I order an 8.

Watch out! Easy to twist your ankle in these shoes - I never made it off my living room carpet with these shoes, so I don't know how they would perform on a dance floor. But I can say that as soon as I stood up in these shoes, I had a lot of heel pain. They are not cushioned inside. I got the wide width, but they were still too tight. The worst thing about them is that something about the way the heel is made; it is very easy to twist your ankle in these shoes.

Great dancing boots - I looked for a long time to find comfy country western dancing boots, and here they are. They are true to size, flexible and comfy. I wore thick socks for added comfort. I have received compliments on there great look also. I would definitely buy them again. Thanks Zappos!

Poor Quality; Fair to Good Design - The Tic Tac Toe Grace dance shoes need more cushioning. Especially for dancing, which is done on hardwood, tile or concrete floors! The heel on the Grace is too narrow at the bottom. They make my feet wobbly, and I've almost fallen or turned my ankle several times while dancing in them. A dangerous design. The straps are too short to go over the instep, go through the buckle and have any strap left over at the end. It's also difficult to get the strap laced through the tiny opening in the buckle. Perhaps an elastic strap or a strap with elastic added could be considered. The shoe is attractive, and would be more so if the straps were a little narrower. The gold shoe is a little garish and I would love a softer gold. I would also like to see a soft hued silver shoe produced. I would also like to see this shoe done with a smooth leather sole for regular couple dancing, in addition to the suede one, which is okay for square dancing. Overall, I would rate the quality of this shoe as poor. The design is good, except for the heel, which, for safety's sake, should be corrected.

Not just for dancing- Arthritis, bursitis, and falling arches make it hard for me to find comfortable shoes. I wanted a dressier shoe to wear with skirts to Church, and this shoe fills the bill. The angled strap of this shoe keeps it on my foot, without cutting into the foot when it swells. The heel is the right height to help arch the foot properly. I've worn it for hours at a time, without the least bit of discomfort. I've received compliments on its appearance, too. And, it's made right here in the USA! Thank you Tic-Tack-Toe, and Zappos!

Dance Shoe - I do like the shoe but it is too tight in the toe on my left foot. I think a larger size would be entirely too long and perhaps not narrow enough in the heel. Will look for a toe fashioned more as a baby doll (rounded).
