I purchased these socks based on the reviews and the fact; the description states "Lite". They are too heavy for me on the treadmill, I tried them with a mesh shoe and my feet were burning hot. These socks are so well made, I will keep them for everything but the treadmill! They are made in the USA and they are the best socks I have ever owned.

I have been impressed in the past with Thorlos running socks, so I took a chance on these and was rewarded with the same great quality. I'm using these as boot socks, and they're plenty high enough and stay up all day. Medium-weight sock, nice cushion but not too thick. Great socks.

Very thick socks. Would be difficult to fit inside my athletic shoes. Not what I was looking for. Have small feet so the socks were rather large as well.

Love these socks! They are pricey, but worth it. The extra cushion prevents my feet from hurting on my long walks. The cut hits just at the ankle.

These socks are as comfortable as advertised. Just the right cushioning in the right places. But after only 2 wearing, four of the socks already have pulled threads and/or holes in them. I won't buy this brand again, very low value for the money.

My husband is on his feet everyday for work. I got these as he always says his feet hurt him. He noticed how thick they were and when I gave him a different pair of socks, he asked what happened to these socks, as he can really tell the differnece. Thanks for providing a product that has made my husband's feet feel so much better!

Thorlos Running socks worth the investment. Grabbed a pair for my daughter for Christmas and she tells me best sock she has ever worn to the gym. She was very pleased with the comfort.

These Thorlos socks are just as other reviewers say, in quality and thickness. However...they arrived (in a larger box with other shoes) just thrown into a smaller box. For the price, two socks looked as if they had been worn (yuk!), another pair wasn't matched, and the third pair was packaged. This was a big First experience with me and Zappos over many years. But the sad disappointment was actually when I called Zappos. The guy was nice, but didn't offer to send out actual new socks or really care in that typical Zappos Excellence way. The socks will go back, and my disappointment will fade, but I truly hope this is the exception, not the beginning of a new rule.

These are awesome socks, I got them for my husband for Christmas and he wants to replace all his work socks with these Thorlos! We are definitely ordering more.

In 2 months I had holes in my socks. I contacted the company, and they want me to spend postage to get them "evaluated." I'm going back to Fox River.

Best walking sock, thickened in the right spots. Bought another 3 pack after trying them. Well worth the money.

These are the greatest socks. I wear them to work every day since I am on my feet all day long on concrete floors. They have great cushioning and wear like iron -l ast forever!

These are the best. Especially because they are sized! I wear a men's 7.5 and these fit perfectly. They last long (but not forever), and are really comfy for my walking commute, all day in the office, and around the house. Also for light hiking.

I just bought these socks and wore them while on holiday in Europe, mostly just walking around cities. They are super comfortable, warm and soft. I experienced no chafing or blisters. I highly recommend these for walking or hiking.

I have always used Thorlos socks for when playing tennis and would never consider using anything else. I purchased these for everyday wear because of the good experience they have brought. Plus they last for a long, long time. They are more expensive then a lot of other kinds but I can always count on these to stay on my calves without cutting off the blood flow going back to my brain. I love em!

These socks are so comfortable and thick. I debated ordering them because i read on other socks that they weren't all that thick. Order from Zappos and you will not be disappointed. These are the original, thick cushioned socks.

These socks feel great and they wash well without undue shrinkage. They are padded at the heel and toe for extra comfort and really make a difference when compared to your run of the mill ankle sock. I wear these now exclusively for my daily walks, generally 4-5 miles, and they show no signs of wear whatsoever. Give 'em a try!

What can I say? I bought these as a Christmas present for my oldest son who likes to take long hikes. When he thanked me, he said "They're perfect, Dad, Thanks a lot."

A podiatrist recommended that I buy these socks to help with a foot problem that I have. So far so good. They provide a cushion not only for the bottom of my foot, but for the sides and top of the toes, as well.
