I used this on a camping trip to Big Bend. I put it on top of a regular air mattress. The weather got down into the 30's at night. Everyone else complained of being cold, but I stayed nice and warm.

I own a small sailing kayak and enjoy camping out on some of the spoil islands in the Inter Coastal Waterway of South Florida. With limited space for provisions etc. it was a big decision to bring a mattress as large as this with all the rest of my camping gear. However as a 60 year old, getting a good nights rest is crucial when you're camping out, especially on an island. I can honestly say that it was worth the effort and I slept much better on the Dream Time than on the blow up air mattress I tried once before. I'll make room for almost anything on my boat if it adds to my overall comfort and Zappos shipping and return policy made for an easy "test run". I'm looking forward to more adventures, island camping and sweet dreams.
