I used this bag on a two week vacation through Europe. It is roomy and held a guide book, camera, bottled water, and other essentials. The long strap was nice because it allowed me to use the bag cross-body, freeing up my hands. That said, the strap was a bit long for someone my size (I am 5’1") and I had to tie a knot to shorten it. Overall this was a sturdy and useful bag for my purposes. It is a great travel day bag.

I LOVE this bag!! I do wish there were bigger pockets inside though. But other than that, everything is awesome! There are a lot of cute little details to this bag! I give it 5 stars for sure!

I love this purse! It is the perfect size, with room for my book and lunch. The color is beautiful and not shiny, like the picture makes it look, and the leather is soft. Because of the light colored liner, I am no longer digging for my things. It is also very comfortable and stays on my shoulder.

I purchased the black purse. The purse looks better than the picture. You can tell that it was not made with cheap leather. Very impressed with the design. The only thing that I do not care for is getting my things lost within the purse. This is my first time carrying a purse of this size; something to get used to. I would recommend this purse to anyone who loves purses.

Nice idea, but disappointing - This bag looks great, and I love the eco-friendly concept. The length and size was perfect overall, but the inside pockets were very awkward. The elastic on the inside pouches was so tight that once I put my phone inside, it took two hands to get it out of the pocket. That takes too long and makes for two many missed calls. I need organization in my purses, so I returned this bag. If you don't mind everything in one big space, then this bag may be for you. Oh, and the softness is divine! I wish the inside was better.

Flower power lives! Bought this spunky handbag in the yellow and just love it. Looks great with a white peasant shirt and jeans. Fits all my stuff (wallet, makeup, cell phone, etc) and very lightweight to carry. Like taking a piece of sunshine with me wherever I go. I get a lot of compliments on it. Totally groovy.

OMG! Wonderful bag! Perfect size. Very soft leather, lots of room. Hangs just right on the shoulder. Also what I would call a light-weight bag. Even with all my stuff it's not a load on my shoulder. I ordered the Punch color and was very pleased. It's not a fire-engine red but a southwestern muted red. This is definitely going to be one of my favorites.

I have just received my Ashbury bag (Boysenberry). I have been looking for a purple IT bag for several months. The leather is very nice and the straps are just the right length. The bag is not heavy either. I could go on and on about this style, leather, color, but... there is one thing you need to know and that is that the bag does not have much structure to it, but it’s a keeper. The price was great. Zappos rocks!

Soft Leather Sak - I bought this in orange to keep up with the splash of color trend. I looked in the stores, but came back to Zappos after getting sticker shock. I also know that The Sak is a reliable brand. I really like this purse, with a few exceptions. The removable "shoulder" strap is much too short, so I bought some rings and lengthened it myself. I wish the regular handles were removable, too. It's a great color, can accent almost any color, but the front is slightly darker than the back. Not enough for anyone else to notice. Very soft leather with nice size and pockets.

This is my favorite bag - I absolutely love this bag; it is the third one I have owned over the last ten years. For the money that I paid, the first two wore quite well. The Marlboro is simple and perfect for what I require in a bag; I give it 5 stars in all areas, but I wish they still offered it in dark brown. Also, the zipper compartment on the outside of the bag is something that I do miss. I have owned the black, dark brown, and at present, the boysen-berry, bags.

Silver Lake bag - Great bag! I'm really enjoying using it. It's got good room and compartments. Looks a bit like a saddle bag and has a strong leather smell but that dies down after a few days. If you like the smell you won't mind at all! Amazed at how well the shoulder strap stays on your shoulder!!

Loved it, but there was a defect! I loved the look, the size, the everything about this purse. It is a perfect fit for cross body and for over the shoulder. I enjoyed this purse so much, but over time (a couple of weeks), the yellow saffron color leather was rubbing off, and turning green... very odd, and ugly. I contacted customer service over the matter, and was very pleased with how they handled the matter. So thumbs up to a great company.

Love This Bag! Not only is the bag earth friendly, but it is very comfy and a great design. The shoulder strap is easy on the shoulders and the bag being fabric is very light weight. It is roomy with several little pockets for cell phone, keys, etc. It has a long strap length which I really like since some bags have such short straps. They are hard to keep on the shoulders and the straps keeping slipping down. I really like this bag and might even buy another one in a different color.

Fantastic - I ordered this bag in Dark Amber. I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and it was delivered to my house on Friday!!! Zappos shipping is amazing. It was packaged very well and I could just smell the leather as soon as I opened the box. This bag everything a bag should be including NOT expensive. I love the versatility of being able to switch between a satchel and hobo. I have a large collection of handbags and have not carried anything else since receiving the Silverlake. I also purchased another in Stone. If you are considering this bag, do not hesitate to purchase it. It is fantastic quality and a great price. As always, Zappos had wonderful service with the bag arriving the next day! However, I did return it because the closure is a 3 snap set-up that I find unacceptable. It is just too easy, in my opinion, to lose items with this kind of closure. I do not feel this feature is adequately described or shown in the pictures. However, the quality of the leather, the size, and the feel were great. The lime green color was luscious.

I just received this bag in dark amber yesterday and I love it. The leather is soft and gorgeous. It has a vintage look to it that I love. I also love the versatility between the satchel style and hobo. I wish Zappos had more colors so I could order another one. As always it came wonderfully packaged and I received it the next day after ordering.

Gorgeous and comfortable bag! I own this bag in black with the gold accents. It's super soft and gorgeous. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it really doesn't hold much other than a wallet and a sunglass case in the main compartment, and my blackberry in the outside pocket. But because of that it gives a sleekness to the bag. Highly recommend it!

Sak now appeals to younger set! My 14-year old daughter doesn't like shoulder-bags... thinks they are not stylish enough. However, when we travel, I insist she use one, much to her chagrin. Past shoulder bags have been bought under protest and discarded quickly once their utilitarian use was over - but not the Sak Pax Eco Print Crossbody. She found this one after hours of searching online, (not surprisingly, she found it at Zappos) and she loves it! Not only did she use it every day on our recent trip to Rome, but is wearing it now as well. As an adult, I've bought several Sak bags, but never dreamed they would please a 14-year-old. Hurray to Sak!

Amazing perfect bag! I got this bag in the dark amber which is very much like a gorgeous tan color. It has plenty of pockets (3 interior, 2 exterior, and one hidden in the flap). It's also a perfect size for a NYC gal who needs a little extra room. I had at one time, a nalgene bottle, a professional blowdryer, a large wallet and a book. I feel the strap length is reallly quite nice to fit around a puffy winter coat and the leather on the strap has this stitching that acts as a grip on your shoulders that makes it not slip off. An all around excellent bag!

The Sak Silverlake Leather Flap in Teak - I LOVE this bag and stalked it for weeks before buying it. Sadly I had to return it because the strap is just a really weird length. It has too long of a drop and looks really strange. Some of the pictures show it with a long strap but it does not come with one so I don't know why they are on there. Just measure for yourself and you will see that an 11 inch drop is just a bit too low. It's quite beautiful though, *sigh* :(
