These shoes are fantastic. I wore them to hike the Inca Trail in Peru. I wish I could buy groceries and make up from Zappos. People are so friendly and I always get a great deal!

I love the look of this shoe and it felt lightweight. I am a true 5.5 and it felt tight to me, (even with a thin sock) so I had to return them.

I really like this shoe but I ordered a half size too large. They really run true to size. I think they will be a great shoe for all outdoor functions. I like the neutral color.
I'd also recommend: Merrill

I am going to hike half dome and will be doing a lot of hiking in Belize, so I needed a good versatile hiking shoe. I got these and the Merrell Moab Mids to compare. These are lighter, not at all as bulky, and I feel will be best for me. Will return the Merrell's (the price difference is also substantial - a lot less for these!). I am a 7 to 7.5 and go the 7.5, which feels great with socks. Can't wait to wear these on the trails!

I like these shoes a lot. They didn't have a horrible break in period, I got a blister on one of my toes, not my heel like I expected. And I only got one blister period, I felt like they didn't tie very tight but once I hiked in them for about a week they're great. They are not waterproof but I didn't even think about how not waterproof they are till I got muddy. And they have much better traction over a wider range of surfaces than my last pair of hiking shoes.
