Love these shoes. So comfortable and look great! I would definitely recommend them as well as Zappos' service. I ordered these shoes and they decided to send them NDA for free! Was great cause I was excited to receive them. Such a nice surprise and great service! :)

I usually wear a size 5 1/2. When these arrived, I found they were just a bit too snug for my socks. Sent them back (hassle-free!) and ordered a 6. Perfect! Comfortable shoes, and they have great treads.

Love this shoe. I needed a good hiking shoe and I don't like hiking boots. This shoe has great grip, and is very supportive all the way around. I began walking in them to break them in, but they were comfortable from day 1. I took a couple of mini-hikes in close by canyons, and then I did a 14er in this shoe. They were fabulous and I am so glad I had a good shoe for the 14er. I am increasingly getting into hiking as a pass-time, and this is the perfect hiker to do it in.

Great hiking shoes. They're like and have big groves at the bottom which helps a lot when hiking downwards on gravels.

    About The North Face

    of New Styles!

Add This Brand to My Favorites
In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach. The company soon became known as The North Face, a retailer of high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. (The name was selected because in the Northern Hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is generally the coldest, iciest and most formidable to climb.) In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment, and in the early 1980s, extreme skiwear was added to the product offering. By the end of the decade, The North Face became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs and tents.

Using all types of proprietary technology, TNF provides The North Face jackets, The North Face clothes, The North Face pants, The North Face bags and The North Face shoes with quality, durability, and above all else, functionality. Throughout the years, The North Face jacket and outerwear division has set the standard in the industry. With styles such as The North Face Denali jacket and vest, The North Face Apex Bionic jackets, and The North Face Nupste jackets, The North Face jackets proves time and time again that they are at the forefront of high-performance apparel.

Their dedication to footwear is no different. With the different categories of trail running, hiking, mountaineering, and most recently ultra running, The North Face shoes division continues to raise the bar for innovation and quality in their shoes. Using proven technology such as Gore-Tex® and Gore-Tex® XCR®, their insulated footwear can sustain use in low, sub-zero temperatures, and with the innovative Boa® technology, users can have a precise fit with the ability to adjust quickly and on the fly. All features that make The North Face shoes a leader in the technical footwear arena.

The North Face’s dedication to quality can also be seen in their gear and equipment. The North Face sleeping bags with a high fill of goose down for warmth and multiple lengths. The North Face daypacks and expedition packs such as the Recon and Jester that are rugged, durable, and can hold all you gear. The North Face tents that will withstand extreme temperatures on Everest and Mt. Rainier. If you have a desire to test the limits, The North Face equipment will help you on your adventure.

Very disappointing. It was obvious from the taped up box that these were shipped and reshipped because they were ridiculously small and more than one person has returned them. Seems like a nice shoe but I'm not willing to play games with Zappos this time.

These are great shoes - lightweight and super comfy. They are just a hair shorter than I'd like but not worth going up a whole size, which I'd have to do since I'm at a 10.

This shoe seems to run small - 1/2 to full size smaller in length. I love that it is short around the ankles so it doesn't dig in. I found the width true to size through the toes but a little smaller over the arch. I do have a high arch and the sides of the shoes barely cover the tongue in this area. Overall I really like them for walking and exercising. They give support without cutting in anywhere.

I would not recommend these shoes. I bought them looking for a sneaker that was supportive, comfortable and cute, but these are neither supportive nor comfortable. The entire shoe is extremely stiff and does not fit the foot the way it should. It is too tight around the midsole, flat through the arch, and too loose through the toe box. I feel like I am wearing clown shoes. Also, the wind blows right through the fabric on the upper part of the shoe. I have never had drafty sneakers before!

Love the look, love the tread! I wear a 7.5 and it was plenty long enough, width was just ok, but I am returning them due to lack of arch support. I hike alot of trails, and it just won't support me enough.

Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell, keen, and I hope Addidas

I like North Face's shoes because they accommodate my wide feet. The Tyndall is comfortable out of the box. It's a great shoe for the hours of walking I do.
