Thanks! We'll notify you as soon as we add new styles for The North Face.
In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach. The company soon became known as The North Face, a retailer of high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. (The name was selected because in the Northern Hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is generally the coldest, iciest and most formidable to climb.) In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment, and in the early 1980s, extreme skiwear was added to the product offering. By the end of the decade, The North Face became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs and tents.

Using all types of proprietary technology, TNF provides The North Face jackets, The North Face clothes, The North Face pants, The North Face bags and The North Face shoes with quality, durability, and above all else, functionality. Throughout the years, The North Face jacket and outerwear division has set the standard in the industry. With styles such as The North Face Denali jacket and vest, The North Face Apex Bionic jackets, and The North Face Nupste jackets, The North Face jackets proves time and time again that they are at the forefront of high-performance apparel.

Their dedication to footwear is no different. With the different categories of trail running, hiking, mountaineering, and most recently ultra running, The North Face shoes division continues to raise the bar for innovation and quality in their shoes. Using proven technology such as Gore-Tex® and Gore-Tex® XCR®, their insulated footwear can sustain use in low, sub-zero temperatures, and with the innovative Boa® technology, users can have a precise fit with the ability to adjust quickly and on the fly. All features that make The North Face shoes a leader in the technical footwear arena.

The North Face’s dedication to quality can also be seen in their gear and equipment. The North Face sleeping bags with a high fill of goose down for warmth and multiple lengths. The North Face daypacks and expedition packs such as the Recon and Jester that are rugged, durable, and can hold all you gear. The North Face tents that will withstand extreme temperatures on Everest and Mt. Rainier. If you have a desire to test the limits, The North Face equipment will help you on your adventure.

I bought this North Face for my daughter in March. I own a Denali, and so does my older daughter. I bought the Khumbu for my younger daughter (she's still growing) since the price was a lot less than the Denali, and I like it better than the Denali. It is much sore figure flattering! My daughter is in love with it and wears it every day! I hate spending too much on clothing since I am a Mother of 4 girls, but with North Face the quality is great! Worth every cent!

I bought this jacket a few days ago and have already had to return it. I read the reviews first and saw that everyone had written about how great it was, so I bought it. But when I received it, it was too small. I own a Denali and the Venture jacket, both in a large, and both fit perfectly, if not a little roomy, so I bought this in a large assuming it would fit, but it didn't. The fabric is very soft, but thick, and came up a little short in the waist. It would have been a great jacket if I had just ordered a larger size. However, I love TNF and will still continue to buy their products. This was just one small disappointment.

Great jacket -- warm enough to wear by itself on really cold days. I've worn it in the 30's, but also great when you just need a "sweater" in a cold room. Very soft and comfy. Absolutely recommend, great price.

Great jacket! My daughter wanted a North Face jacket, but the prices are a little daunting. This jacket is reasonably price and does not skimp on the quality you would expect from North Face. She's happy with the brand. I'm happy with the quality. Great buy!

Amazing warmth and comfort! I love that the sleeves and body length are slightly longer than other TNF jackets, so it fits me well. I am 5'4" 120 and a Small fits me perfectly. My favorite North Face - for sure my go to jacket on a daily basis. Best feature is the versatility - if you leave it on inside, you aren't hot, but when you walk outside, it definitely keeps you toasty!

I'd also recommend: patagonia, mountain hardware, marmot

Great jacket, I am 5 feet tall, it hits at lower hip. The surface is not furry, it's like a flat and smooth surface, but it is fleece, like compressed and kind of thick. Wow, nice. I have tried a few styles this month and this is one that is more gently shaped to flatter a woman's shape, compared to some that are boxy. I weigh 130 and Medium is a nice fit and flatters my shape. Also, arms are not extra long like some styles either. I have a NF Ruby Raschel that is extra thin and waist-length, it's more like a stretchy second skin. I think if I wore it under this Khumbu, it could serve zero degree cold! Honestly. Their stuff is that good, worth it. Yes, this Khumbu has been tested at 35 degrees worn alone, and it's warm! I am always the cold one too. I have lots of less expensive brands, maybe keep them to wear indoors! Go North Face!
