Very happy with this cute canvas sneaker from North Face. Was looking for a Chuck Taylor type sneaker with more support and found it in this shoe. This shoe is more supportive that CT's, with a foam pebbled footbed for support and comfort. The toe cover is thicker, more durable rubber than the CT's too. Runs one size large, so size down for a better fit. Very comfortable, cute, and sturdy sneaker.

These are cute and oh so comfy. Roomy fit, light as a feather. Great for this very cold spring season, when you don't want boots or brown leather shoes, and you'd freeze in sandals. I imagine you could wash them in the machine if need be.

Love 'em! I have always wanted this type of slightly retro sneaker, but Converse have no support or cushioning and I've just never found the right look: too wide and they look like clown shoes, too narrow and they look like wrestling or ballet flats. But these, these are amazing. The shape is perfect, the don't make your feel look big or clown-ish, they're not floppy, but still very soft and flexible. The egg crate feels so soft and they do run big, I was able to add another foam insert underneath the egg crate one without compromising the fit. The heel tabs make them easy in and out. The white color is perfect - it's not stark white, but ecru canvas on a white rubber platform. I want a pair in Navy too. I hope they never stop making these, because although there is a sea of similar styles, nothing has this mix of aesthetic deal, comfort, and practicality.

I don't have a car, so I do some serious walking. Usually when I buy a new pair of walking shoes, I have to break them in a bit and/or change the insole into a sturdier insole. Note the case with these shoes. They were amazingly comfortable when I first put them on, and I can walk miles in them without any discomfort! They look a little clunky, but they are super light. My only complaint is that the sizing is a little weird. I normally wear a 5.5, but their 5.5 felt more like a 6. So, I ordered the 5, but that actually felt like a 5 and was too tight on me.
