This is a keeper! The fabric/materials are of the usual North Face quality. Highly durable, and the color combo looks great. The bag is larger than most laptop bags, but that makes it roomy enough to carry plenty of files, magazines, etc., and there are a few extra pockets to help keep things really organized. This bag is very comfortable to carry, too.

Nice bag! Really like the two large compartments. My only complaint is I wish one side didn't have extra padding for a laptop.

Great, large bag. Fits my wide-screen laptop. The only problem is when the bag is too full, it's heavy and the straps are uncomfortable on the shoulder. Padded or rounded straps would have been nice. That said, though, I kept the bag and it has been great as a roomy general tote or overnight bag.

I love this bag...it's extremely lightweight and the fabric is sturdy. I use it for my daily commute, and the straps are long enough to be comfortable even with a winter coat. Also, it's large enough to fit all I need without being bulky or cumbersome.

Great tote for carrying documents and iPad! Not ideal if you need to use the tote to carry wide items because of the narrow compartments. It's a great bag, very sturdy!

I have been using this bag about a month now and it is terrific for toting my laptop to work. The padded compartment zips and really protects the device. The shoulder straps are the perfect length and are made of "seatbelt" material, so it's very strong and comfortable on my shoulder. It's a large bag, I can fit my 15" laptop, a 2" 3-ring binder, and a couple bottles of water with room to spare. I also have a 17" laptop with an extended battery (big) and it fits in the bag without difficulty. The material of the bag is unlike other bags, it seems virtually indestructible. I intend to use this bag for many years to come.

I ordered this because I needed a sturdy bag for work, work outs, and school. I love it. I can really pack stuff in there for example today I have a laptop, work out clothes, wallet, makeup, keys, phones, a notebook and a water bottle, and I still have some room. Granted, I think I would have liked a few more pockets or sections to separate things, but generally, this is an awesome bag. It looks sleek in black, but the material does tend to get a few scratches.

This is a great bag for the gym. It fits my spinning shoes and 2 towels (small ones for the gym). It's to take anywhere really! Even my 13 inch Macbook Pro fits in there! I love it! GET IT! GET IT!

This is an excellent travel tote and carry-all. I use it as a carry-on on the plane and as an overnight bag. There is a padded section that fits a large laptop (the reason why I bought it in the first place). It's also very durable and easy to clean.

I took this tote as a carry on/day bag on a 2 1/2 week, fast paced tour of South Africa. It was amazing how much stuff I could cram in & still zip it-it is a bionic bag. It's a good, medium size, fits on the shoulder or carried by hand. One side has an outside zip pocket pocket, the other a flexible open ended pocket to slide a jacket through.

This bag is great! I love the size, look, and functionality of it. I use it as my teacher bag, which carries papers to grade back and forth, my grade book and at times my laptop. The pockets inside and on the outside are also perfect. I love it!

I bought this bag to use as a travel tote for things that I did not want to put in my checked luggage. It is fantastic. Plenty of room for a pocketbook, make up bag, water, kindle, etc. Also room in the other pocket for a laptop and work papers. Very roomy yet lightweight. I love it!

I bought this for the 10 hour plane ride as my carry on. It fit all electronics and last minute purchases at the airport. The dual pockets are very handy for keeping items separate. I used the small outer pocket that zips for the plastic baggie with liquid items. The strap is very durable, seatbelt material. I love the outer pockets, and the mesh sleeve at the back was great for holding jackets and extra layers needed on the plane. Now I have converted it over to gym/yoga use, and the dual pockets work great for gym clothes/work clothes plus you can carry your yoga mat. Great design. I used to like backpacks for travel, but everything just sinks to the bottom, so if you don't mind the shoulder strap, this is a great solution.

I have mixed feelings about this bag. I want to love it, but I don't. Pros: well-constructed, sturdy, huge, comfy shoulder straps. Negatives: not enough pockets and internal construction to make it user-friendly. I took it on one trip so far and was constantly digging for things that had fallen into the abyss. I am going to keep it because I haven't found anything better, but I am not enthusiastic about it. Bummer.

I purchased this bag as a Christmas gift for my picky 15 year old daughter. She loves it. The size is perfect for school books, it zips shut and looks good. The quality is very good.
