Nice attractive shoe. Good traction and flexible. Tight though the toe box. Would be great if it came in a wide width.

There is an annoying small ridge inside where my big toe hits on each shoe that is more noticeable when sitting than walking. I am already starting to ignore it. But overall they are very comfortable right out of the box.

This is an excellent mid-range hiking shoe. I bought them as my first foray in to backpacking without a boot. With a light pack load of under 20 lbs. these are great. I extensively broke them in with day hikes and around town walking before heading out on longer trips in the White Mountains of NH. Overall I love them and will continue using them for a while. The only negative thing I felt was that the padding could have been more robust for long days of boulder hoping. They are absolutely perfect for day hikes, and I highly recommend this versatile hiking/backpacking shoe. A note about waterproofing. I purposely bought a shoe without it because I use them for overnight backpacking. A shoe like this dries out quicker and more thoroughly than a waterproofed one.

Overall, the shoe is great. Looks good and it seems very sturdy. The only problem I have is the tongues don't stay in place. They shift to the outsides and it can get kind of annoying to keep having to move them.

Very comfortable, thick sole makes for good walking/hiking. A good bit of the shoe is mesh, so wear with wool if it's cold. Otherwise, perfect for summer hiking and trudging through streams.

This is a great shoe. The sole alone is reason enough to buy them. I wish they would just put this sole on every different kind of upper out there - I would buy none other. Bought this for wearing in summer (very breathable) while carrying my kid on my back on 2-6 mile hikes and walks. They are awesome for this. I have about 50 lbs on back with him and these shoes provide great comfort whether on pavement or trails. Very good lateral support without being rigid. And even with the weight on my back I have stood at 45 degree angles on wet rocks and leaf covered trails and the shoes are completely stable and the soles gripping. I feel I can literally trust my son's safety to these shoes - and I do. Also wear them trail running. Because they are so light and flexible I find I like them better for trail running than the other 3 brands of trail runners I own which have now become kick around shoes. I need to find the boot version of this with Gore-Tex for the winter.

It hard to find a size 13 shoe that fits well and still retains the intended style. This shoes does that perfectly. This is my second pair of north face shoes ever. The first pair was bought at a clearance sale and didn't expect much. But I found Un-Presidented quality and comfort. The same goes for this pair of shoes they feel amazing and look great.
