Love these shoes! My son and I both love North Face shoes! They fit so good and looks great. Great for running and hiking through the mountains, which we do on vacation. They hold up great too. Perfect shoe for a boy!

The shoes fit great and is true to size! My son is very picky about the look and feel of his shoes and these were perfect. He says they are airy which is very needed in the Texas heat. He also likes the added height he gets from them. They look well made and appear to have good arch support. We like the unique gray and red color combo. Most boys shoes are navy and silver or black and silver or very bold color combos that my son isn't into. It's a great classic shoe that will be good for school and weekend hikes.

Issue with quality. The quality and look of these shoes is great. However, I chose these shoes for my son primarily because of the toggle closure. We have had these shoes less than two months and the toggle broke. The shoes came with a spare pair of laces, but they do not stay tied without the plastic toggle. This is very frustrating as he won't wear them anymore and I paid a pretty penny for these! I'm hoping to find a replacement toggle.

My son loves these shoes. He immediately got rid of his old ones(vasque, but they were really old) and said he planned on wearing these all the time! I really love the customer service and quick shipping with Zappos also. We will definitely be using you again in the future.

I have purchased two pairs of North Face shoes for my children. The shoes run true to size length wise although slightly narrow. They are handling the abuse much better than a pair of New Balance shoes we replaced. The best part was actually the customer service I received from Zappos. Every step of the way they were attentive, friendly and professional.

My boys love this shoe. I do think it is true to size. My boys have narrow feet and this shoe fits by pulling the laces as tight as they can be tightened. My only complaint is that the laces are slippery and the shoes become untied after a full day at school and play even with a double knot.

These shoes have lasted well. My only complaint is that the laces refuse to stay tied even when knotted. North Face is sending me flat style ones to replace the originals or you can find replacement gray laces at shoe repair shops.

My 5 year old needed a good pair of shoes that he could take on and off without having to worry about the laces coming untied. These are the best shoes I have purchased in a long time. They are true to size and still look new after several weeks of daily wear.

A great looking shoe! Just like dad's so my boy loves them! The inside heel area has started to pill in a short period of time but does not affect the overall performance of the shoe. Would definitely purchase them again!

The shoes are great, except for the laces! The laces will not stay tied, even if double tied. From the picture, I thought that the laces were a pull tie. In very fine print you can read that the pull ties only go up to a certain size.

With one exception, this is a great shoe! Good fit and very sturdy. However, and this is a big however with kids, the shoes do not stayed tied, even double knotted. That being said, we went to a local sporting good store and purchased toggles, which seems to have taken care of the problem.

We are very pleased with these shoes. My son wears a size 1, so the shoes still have the toggle lace up feature instead of standard laces, so we don't need to worry about the laces coming undone. They seem very sturdy and comfortable. Some of the red has already worn after the sides, but my son does play hard. We have only had them for a few weeks but so far we are extremely pleased.

My son loves these shoes. Ordering his second pair because he outgrew the first pair. Very happy with them. Stands up to wear and tear without showing just how hard a little boy is on shoes. Others haven't lasted as long.
