I don't understand people's beef with this backpack. It's cheap, it's simple, and it looks great. Not to mention, it's durable. Sure, there's no padding of any sort, but not everyone wants a padded backpack. It is what it is; light, small, and versatile. I like it a lot. Best backpack at this price that money can buy.

I bought this pack because of it's small size. I used it as a day pack on a backpacking trip instead of lugging my main pack around the cities all day. For it's price, this bag is a complete rip off. If it didn't have The North Face's logo, it would be less money. The material is very thin and the whole bag just feels flimsy. Internal organization isn't very good and neither is the back padding. In hindsight, I could have just folded my Jansport backpack in to an almost as small size as this bag, and shoved it in my main pack when not in use and been much happier. I'd return it but I don't think Zappos would let me and that would kind of be abusing their great service anyway.

Great backpack! Took it to China and it took up very little room or weight in my carry-on. Next it is going to Turkey and Greece. Good for camera, umbrella, sweater, water bottle and things you buy while sightseeing. I bought black so my husband will use it also.

This is a great small extra pack for shopping, peak bagging, side trips or hikes. It is not robust enough for your daily carry, public transportation, school, etc., but nice in the suitcase or full size pack when you want to travel light and fast and carry a small load. Zappos' shipping is rocket fast! I had barely clicked confirm and the item was on my front porch! Are they using Transporters like in Star Trek or something?

I purchased this pack for a cruise that I was going on. I wanted something that was small that I could pack in my luggage, and I could use as a day pack during our on land excursions. I was very pleased with this pack, it allowed me to fit everything I needed to lay on the beach or go shopping in the markets. It was sturdy, while at the same time, very light weight. I received a lot of compliments on the pack as well. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase, I'm sure that I will find a lot more uses for it in the future (camping, music festivals, and more traveling)!

We bought these packs for running around Yosemite with our young boys and they worked great. Light weight and padded straps. My husband and 4 year old were able to both use them because of adjustable straps. Loved the mesh outside compartment for quick access and wet shoes, etc. If you need a light pack for snacks and a water bottle, this is the way to go. A timeless classic!
