I love this coat! It is extremely warm. I wore it skiing in Canada for new years when it was 0°F and I was perfectly warm with just one undershirt. Do not get it too big or it will not be able to trap your body heat. I also wore it skiing in Vermont on a spring-like day in January and I was a bit warm in it with just a t-shirt no vents which is the only slight downfall.
