I have arthritis in my back and hip. I wear these shoes all the time. I have walked all over London, Paris, Ireland, and Scotland in these shoes. They are comfortable and give me lots of support. I have had many compliments on how cute the shoes are. Love them.

LOVED these shoes! I was looking for a nice looking pair of casual shoes to wear to on my trip to China. I will be doing a lot of walking and wanted something really comfortable. These shoes really fit the bill. I ordered a 7.5 and usually wear a 7.5 to 8. The 7.5 fit perfectly! Can’t say enough about these shoes!

Awesome sandals! I ordered them at 10pm at night, and they were on my doorstep at 10am the next morning. Definitely a shoe fairy hiding in the yard. Cute, trendy, kinda retro, and totally comfortable. I wore them every day on my 8-day vacation in Florida. I don’t think I’d wear them hiking or on super-long walks; not enough support for that. Note: I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 7, never smaller, but I wear a 6 1/2 in this shoe. Can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can wear them again.

Elegant Walking Shoes - These were to wear out to dinner in Belize. You have to hike along the roads, etc. Need to be able to wash the red clay off the shoe. They last and work well - hiking and swimming, too. My only issue is they cut a little across the top of the foot above the toe knuckles. NO GIVE at all.

This shoe is stiff and cuts into my foot across the top at the front. It also feels odd at the heel where the back strap slips up and down when I walk. Overall not comfortable.
About Teva
Teva and Zappos have partnered together to launch The Naturist, a new online web series, starring Gavin McInnes. The Naturist is often called an outdoor expert. We completely agree... he is an expert at what not to do while outdoors. Fortunately, he has one thing going for him, the new Teva© Riva. Thanks to features like an aggressive lug design and a waterproof and breathable membrane, The Naturist can be sure that even when everything else goes wrong, his feet will still be comfortable and protected.
Founded in 1984, Teva began with an unassuming Grand Canyon River Guide and an idea that would become the world's very first Sports Sandal.
The first pairs of Teva footwear were sold out of a van to friends and fellow boaters at the various put-ins along the river. Coupling the freedom of a flip-flop with the security of an ankle strap, the "Original" was an instant hit and quickly became the shoe of choice within the guide community.
From this beginning a culture of passion for outdoor adventure has defined the Teva lifestyle. The name Teva, pronounced "Teh'-vah", comes from a Hebrew word meaning nature and the hand in the logo is derived from the symbolic language of the Hopi people. When translated, the hand is a symbol for friendship and the spiral a symbol for water, giving Teva their creed: "friendship with water."
Moving into the next 25 years, Teva remains committed to both the innovation in footwear suited for the adventurous lifestyle and the protection of the earth's waterways.

Simply fabulous. I own two pair and am ordering a third; unsurpassed in comfort and good looking, too. I wear them anywhere for hours. Great on vacation.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Roratonga. I wanted a shoe that I could wear in the ocean for walking on coral. The shoes worked great in the water. They do not look any different after 21 days of being in salt water. I think the ankle straps are a little tight. I don't think I have big ankles. Also, I found the snaps to be difficult to unsnap and snap. I thought they would be great for going through the airport security but got very frustrated trying to get them on and off. Not sure why snaps would be stubborn.

Finally, a comfy pair of shoes I can wear to work. I am on my feet all day, sometimes 12 hours. Teva is a great shoe, but sometimes not a professional enough look for work. Plus, available in size 5! Thanks!

Comfortable shoes right out of the box. I would have rated them a five if they were offered in solid black.

Very cute. Seem very comfortable, though I haven't worn them for long distances yet. Enough shoe to protect my foot, enough cut-outs to keep me cool. Normally wear a 7.5, but the 7 fits perfectly.

These are great shoes. Nice looking, slim, comfortable as opposed to clunky and comfortable. I bought another pair as a replacement. Everyone likes them and are inspired to purchase.

I am always looking for a comfortable yet cute shoe to wear to work. I am a registered nurse and on my feet for over 12 hours a shift. These seemed to fit initially a little large, but after a shift I felt like my foot had adjusted perfectly to the shoe size and felt great. The support is adequate for my high arches and I love these shoes. And very cute also!

I was so disappointed with these shoes! I have a pair of Teva sandals that I have literally been wearing for 4 years and they are still comfortable. This style, Westwater, has no support. The soles are very thin and don't resemble anything like my trusty sandals. They didn't seem to be made well either. Thanks to Zappos for easy return/exchanges, however.

These shoes are the best. I saw them on a friend and thought "how cute". I then tried on her pair and they were very comfortable. I ordered two pairs, not sure what size and color to get, and ended up having to send both pair back, one because the size was wrong, the other because the strap was defective. Here's the best part: I ended up getting the same size in both colors and the return / exchange process was so easy and fast. The customer service person was the best. They took care of emailing me in minutes a return label for the shoes I was returning so I didn't have to worry about doing anything but dropping them off at a shipping location. Then they ordered the ones I wanted and they were there the next day. So this is all about the excellent Zappos service, which that it was. Now the shoes, the best investment in shoes I've made in a while. I took them on a weekend trip and ended up hiking 6 - 8 miles in them with no problems. They were great and looked good, too.

I love this shoe. Looks good on and comfortable to the max. I wore it all day the first day I received it and it was great. The only thing is I have to wear the cross strap moved back around the top of the heel which looks fine. The strap kept popping off the snap because my left foot is a little too thick across the top or the strap is a little shorter than the right foot. It does have a small piece of elastic on the inside of the strap, but just not enough for my foot. I may have the shoe repair shop put a little larger piece of elastic in there later. I agree it does run a little large, but don't think I could go down a size.

Love these shoes! Casual yet stylish and comfortable right out of the box. Wear them with dress pants for work and black tights with a skort for a cruise.

These are the best shoes! They are really attractive and feminine, they fit very well, extremely comfortable for even city walking, they look great with everything, even with polar tec socks. Wish they came in all black, but the bracken is a good brown and the green is wonderful. Love these shoes! Lily Rose

Really comfortable for very long walks, for travel, and they look great. Perfect alternative to athletic shoes, when you want to "dress up" a bit. Love them.

I love this shoe/sandal! I got it in Walnut but I also love the two green ones they have available. It\'s really comfortable and very cute, I\'ve gotten many compliments on them. These are definitely not for wide feet. I have average width feet and while they just fit when I first put them on, they have stretched slightly to accomodate my foot. If you have narrow feet, these would be great for you. You can wear the strap over your foot or behind the heel for a slip on.

Comfortable and practical- this is my second pair. The first is holding up well, but decided to get a second in another color in case Teva does not make them next season. I have a very short (barely size five) and slightly wide foot and getting comfortable stylish shoes can be challenging. Westwater fits the bill perfectly.
