Hubby had an impossible time finding comfortable sandals. He has type-2 diabetes so he has to be really careful with the fit and no rubbing, etc. And, by the way, he doesn't shop! Well, I found sandals for him at Zappos and had him select the specific style he liked. He is very happy with the fit and I'm thrilled to protect his health. These are perfect!

This will be my fourth pair of Tevas, and the first I've bought in 3 years. To say that theses are by far the best pair I've ever owned is an understatement! They are light, very comfortable, and the front clasp mechanism for taking them on and off is genius! I was hesitant to spent the money on them and now feel like I got a bargain. I wear these everywhere, be it commuting on my bike, hiking around, or just around the house doing yard work. Buy these sandals immediately!

I love these sandals. I've been wearing Teva sandals for about six years as my only summer footwear and these fix every complaint I've had in the past. The plastic buckle makes them way easier to get on and off than other styles. They even did a nice job putting some of the strap behind the buckle so it doesn't dig into your foot. The strap material is more durable and won't fray as quickly as the older styles. The foot bed is both more durable and lighter (how did they pull that off?) while still having some cushion making them comfortable for hours of walking around.

Whoa. Very nice :-). My first Tevas in many years. My old thick black sole and brown leather straps are OK, but these have improved so much! They are much lighter and softer. The buckle is great so u don't need to keep adjusting the strap to find the right comfort level. I have really wide feet and Tevas only come in mediums, but it doesn't matter because the straps adjust to however wide you need. Great shoe.

Perfect sandal. I ordered Ecco Yucatans, which I really wanted to like more than the others, but they just did not fit as well. I wear a 12 dress shoe and 13 sneaker. The 13 Tevas fit perfectly. I also had a pair of Teva Terradactyls for 5+ years. These blows them out of the water. The arch support is perfect where the terradactyls were just OK. The cushion unde rthe heel is phenomenal. And, it has a drain. The buckle release sealed the deal, every sandal should have this. Some of the Ecco's weird footbed, they call it Anatomical Wave seemed just wrong. It feels like you are walking on really hard packed wet sand with sharp ridges not gentle waves. Odd, but they must feel good to someone. Anyhow, these are the perfect sandal for a summer vacation in Italy. Very supportive and giving at the same time.

Great sandal. Can custom fit with the velcro leather straps. Good traction and won't scuff boat decks. Good arch support.

This design is long overdue! One hand on-off closure versus debris trapping Velcro. Superior design needs a little break-in time with narrower cloth straps. It can wear a bit rough when at first worn all day.

I first tried the Teva Tanza. They were good in many ways but had very exaggerated high arches. These Toachi sandals are perfect. They have great fit, very good (but not extreme) arch support, and I love the excellent lateral stability. I recently walked up and down some very steep hills in Ithaca, NY, and they held my foot well, without the sloppy sliding around that most sandals (including the more traditional Tevas) give. These are marketed as "water sandals" but are great all-around sandals. The quick-release buckles are also a fabulous innovation. Once you get the velcro straps set to the right positions, you never again have to adjust them -- just undo the buckles and slide out. These are the best sandals I have ever owned.

I have an old pair of the suede Tevas that I love, but they needed to be replaced. After some shopping I chose these. Boy was that a mistake. The shoes are very uncomfortable--the strap over the front of the foot hurt and left a blister after a short period of normal walking around the grocery store. The buckles that everyone raved about are on the wrong side of the shoe making them hard to use. I would not recommend these to anyone.

I had to return them because they were too narrow and I have a skinny foot! They look and feel great and I'm disappointed they're not available in a wider size! I have the Terra Fi 3's and they are about 1/2 inch wider and fit great, but they are worn and I was ready for the Toachis.

Overall a nice sandal but I have to agree that they do run a bit narrow. I normally wear a D width and my foot is a bit wider than the sole. Will probably keep them though since I like everything else. Also, I was a bit hesitant about what appeared as red trim on the shoe but it is actually a much better brown / rust color that goes well with the gray.

I have had these sandals for two months and can say that Teva is nearly back to where they were a few years ago in terms of being able to make a quality sandal. These are great! The support is there, and I have worn them for six mile walks and have been just fine. They look really sharp. They are not narrow, but if you have thick feet, then these may not be for you. Just one slight dissatisfaction: the spider rubber is hardly different from any other kind of rubber. So it is possible to slip if you are hiking where it is still wet after a storm, and I have. It would be nice if the spider outsole was like it was in 2004. Still, I think only Ecco makes a better outsole. In any case, the Toachi 2 is still a very good sandal for the money.

Really great shoes! Put them on and can't hardly bear to take them off. Great length and they can be adjusted to the contours of one's foot perfectly. Order a pair today, this color is wonderfully neutral!
