Teva Sky Lake Mid eVent®

I was unsure of this shoe because I have only known Teva to make sandals but it worked incredibly well. I used for a trip to the Grand Canyon and only had a chance to wear them a couple of times before the trip and literally had no problems. I hiked about 15 miles in them.

Normally wear a size 9 yet this is short. Since I really like the style, color and going to order one size up.

More for smoothish serfaces rather than rocky hiking. Very lightweight and somewhat thin on the bottom compared to a heavier hiking boot. Good shoe-boot if that is what you are looking for.

Great hiking boots! No break-in time needed and very comfortable. My favorite types of shoes are sandals or house-slippers, so any "real" shoe for me has to mimic those for comfort. I purchased a half-size larger than I usually wear to allow for any foot-swelling during longer hikes, and they fit great. I highly recommend these Tevas!

I great new school, lightweight hiking boot. It does not need to be broken in and you do not need to pull out your wool socks.
I'd also recommend: Ocean Minded sandals
