I bought this shoe last year, which I loved so I really wanted a new pair. So disappointed in the new ones. The strap across the toe is set way back and is very narrow. Unless the straps are very tight, my foot slid forward. The footbed is not as comfortable either. I'm sending them back.

I love finding woman's shoe's that fit and these are the best. The last pair I wore for over two years. Thank you. Also I'm looking for 11 1/2 AA dress shoes

I purchased these to replace the Teva Pretty Rugged sandals I bought in 2005. I wore those until they fell apart and I wanted another pair. I was very disappointed. The old Pretty Rugged model had wider, cushioned straps of good quality leather and a very comfortable footbed with good arch support. The new version is just a regular Teva with some thin cheap leather instead of nylon straps. This would be fine if that's what you were looking for but the price is ridiculous. A slightly lower price would be more appropriate. I was blinded by the name, believing they were the same high quality, so it's my fault for not looking more closely at the picture. I just don't want other Pretty Rugged fans to be fooled!

These shoes fit and looked fine, but I bought them for hiking in the mountains and for that they were not sturdy enough. Although they were comfortable and gave me good footing, they began to tear on the fifth day of my hike and I had to stop using them. They are probably fine for house wear, but I would not recommend them for rugged hiking.

These Tevas are the single most comfortable shoes ever. The Rugged 2 style was very comfortable as well. I like lining better on these shoe as they do not need washing as much.

I had the older style for several years, and this newer model looks even nicer, since the outside sole doesn't look as rugged. It is very cushiony and has a good arch.

I'm very satisfied with my new sandals. They look good and are very comfortable. I was able to wear them all day without breaking them in. Also, I think the guarantee and return policy are amazing, in case I ever need to use them.

Tevas are rugged, fairly waterproof and built for all-day walking comfort. That's what I was looking for, but with a bit more style. I haven't had other luck in finding other black sandals to replace my Rockports of almost the same style. Neither are that fashionable but I'm into all day comfort for traveling and walking around and these work just fine. They're even washable.

Sandals are true to size, rugged, and comfortable. Because you can adjust the width at the ankle and at the bridge of your toes, the fit can be well- tailored to each foot. I walk miles every day and have not been at all disappointed by these well constructed sandals. The picture shows the look and the color of the sandals precisely.

Teva ruined this once-great sandal. I finally found a sandal that I loved and had been wearing the pretty rugged sandals for years. Now Teva has changed them and they are inferior to the original. Please bring back my original sandals, or let me know where I can get a pair! I'm really upset that I cannot get them. They were perfect...past tense.

This would have been my third pair of Pretty Rugged leather sandals, but am very displeased with the design change. The rippled upper sole that comes in contact with the foot is very uncomfortable. I liked the smooth surface of the previous design.
