Very Comfortable and Very Functional - These are great - the soles are very grippy and sticky and the shoes are very comfortable. My husband and I each bought a pair (after trying lots of other Teva and Keen options) and they are incredible for hiking on rocky ground as well as for water sports. The arches have moderate support (perfect for normal feet; the Teva Karnali Wraptor and Teva Toachi have arch support that was WAY too high for my feet), the soles are cushy (I wore them ALL DAY comfortably), and the grippy soles are unbeatable. We tried to slip off of slick rocks in these and COULD NOT. The other thing I love about these is the fit: unlike the Toachi and Wraptor, these have adjustable heels. My heels slipped in those other sandals, but not in these. The Omnium fit my foot perfectly, supported it comfortably, and performed excellently!
Brands I'd also recommend: None - this is the best of its class!

Great Value for Beach Running - I am very happy with this product. It is a little warm, but considering that I wanted a sandal with a toe, that was to be expected. Great value and very comfortable overall. With minimal break-in period, it was comfortable for running at the beach and still was acceptable look wise for casual evening dining.

In shoes, I go for comfort, so my wife usually just rolls her eyes. But these feel good and look good. I wear a partial insert, which these sandals accommodate without being obvious. I give them an A.

I am going to have to send these shoes back for shoddy quality and it's the second pair of Gentle Souls that I've had a bad experience with. The first was a pair of "Oh, So Good," and the heel fell off. This pair, while very comfortable, is losing the lining after just a few wearings. Very disappointing because this brand of shoes is good looking and comfortable, but they are not well constructed.

Comfortable and Amazing Shipping - The shoe is true to size and comfort. It looks good and is great for street or beach wear. And the shipping was amazing. I ordered them on a Thursday night and got them late the next afternoon.

Love 'em - I got these shoes for boating because they are waterproof and breathable. I like the closed toe that protects your toes and they are much more comfortable than I even anticipated. I like how they are adjustable so that you can custom fit them. The "spider" sole really does give amazing grip on wet and otherwise slick surfaces. They hug and support your foot enough for me to do aerobics in them. I prefer them over any other shoe I have. The only problem is that they're too casual to wear all the time!

Very Happy - Great shoe/AWESOME STORE! I bought my Teva Omnium's for a trip to Honduras! Diving, snorkeling, hiking, beachcombing etc- they worked out great-very comfortable & look great. I hail fm Trenton, Me. and wanted to pack light for the trip-my omnium's could be worn with socks in the cold weather- which allowed me the ability to take only 1 pair of shoes. Highly diversified shoe. Great outdoor shoe for outdoor people...5 stars for Zappos TOO!

Does the job - Shoe seemed a tiny bit undersized for me in size 12, but that is with moderately heavy cotton socks. I will be wearing these quite often without socks and the size should be fine for those occasions. The adjustments for proper fit and size are good. There is a buckle for the strap over the top that makes it easy to put the shoe on and maintain previously set size adjustments.

Omnium Review - Great shoe! Needs some breaking in time if you haven't worn sandals a lot though. I found it to be a great shoe for all outdoor activities-hiking, biking, kayaking you name it...

Teva omnium - Great shoe after initial break in period. The openings make for a shoe that is ventilated for regular wear, but is also made of a mesh that is supposed to get wet, unlike athletic shoes that never dry. I will be a counselor at a camp, and they require shoes with a covered toe. Perfect!

These shoes are sooooo comfy! I bought these for a trip to Disney in September thinking they would need a break in period. I don't think they will but I have yet to walk far in them. I feel like I am wearing a very comfy pair of slippers.

Just got these shoes yesterday. They are just as advertised and I would say a big yes to everyone's comments praising the shoes. Just one thing... I'm not sure if I got a lemon pair or not...The shoes are great except mine came with very tiny, even miniscule dots on the inward sole that irritated my left foot. The dots were on both shoes, so I'm wondering if it was an error in the manufacturing or if it's simply part of the manufacturing process and comes with all Omniums. I don't want to send them back (I like them, and have an upcoming trip that I need to start breaking them in for). But the dots simply as they were/are won't work for me. The dots: The dots are miniscule bits of rubber that are a part of the zinc embedded sole. The sole has tiny indented lines on it (probably for keeping the feet from sliding around in them) and if there are two lines for every section on the sole, the dots are found at nearly every section, normally close to the lines. I have taken to sanding them (with sandpaper) to try to wear these dots down. It’s been a process, but I'm pretty sure I can wear them down and still be able to break them in before my trip. Like I said, I could have returned the shoes, but besides the dots these shoes are simply the best I could find for my purposes. I looked at Keen H2s, Skechers Ganges and Skechers Safaris, and these. These won. They have the best anti-microbial treatment (it's actually embedded into the entire rubber layer that your feet touch in the shoes, so it will never wash off or wear out) - you'll throw the shoes away before the inside soles start smelling. Your shoes won't stink. Everyone seemed to say about the Keen H2s that over time and with much use, they end up stinking tremendously! For a backpacker, sleeping next to your shoes is common (even having them in the tent with you at times). I couldn't bear the thought of having smelly shoes with me everywhere I went. The Skechers Safaris are good (I own a pair), but not quite as comfortable (I wouldn't want to walk for miles and miles in them without socks) as these Omnium's are supposed to be. The Skechers Ganges looked almost exactly like what I wanted, only they have parts that won't dry quickly, and for my applications, that's something I was looking for. My applications? I wanted a really good hiking/backpacking shoe/sandal that could be used both on land and in water. I wanted the ability to basically travel anywhere with them, without concern for odor, drying hassles or blisters. These seemed to fit the bill. In fact, as far as my research brought me, these are pretty much the best sandals in their class. And I would say they fit the class of hiking/water-wear. I haven't really broken them in yet, but I can tell already, with great adjustability and top-notch materials these sandals are going to be good...hopefully, awesome.
Brands I'd also recommend: Sketchers Journeyman series, particularly the Safari Sandal

Great sandal! I recently took a 44 mile backpacking trip through the San Rafael Wilderness and all I wore for the feet were the Teva Optimums. They were comfortable and adjustable (for when the feet begin to swell!). There were quite a few water crossings on the trek and the Teva's spider rubber soles grabbed onto the river rocks and held me in place, while I watched others in the group slip into the creek! When they claim that the shoe propels you forward with each step, it's true. I'd never experienced that before and was impressed! The only drawbacks from the trip was one blister (from walking on the side of a mountain for a couple miles and having my foot scrunch up in the sandal, causing the blister) and the weeds that would get stuck in the webbing. But a little moleskin for the blister and some diligent thorn plucking at night, and I was off the next day, happy with my purchase!

The shoes are great. Very comfortable and very well priced. I love the service. I had my shoes the next day. Just yesterday I purchased another sandal after first seeing it in a retail store in my neighborhood. It was priced twice as much higher than the same sandal, in the same color, on your web site. I bought yours and it is being delivered today.

I run a boatyard in southeastern Connecticut. I bought the Teva Omnium to serve as my daily work shoe. It hasn't disappointed. Fits well, decent support, kind to yacht decks and my toes are protected from the inevitable stubbing. Finally, Zappos has been their usual prompt and efficient selves. No complaints and no worries.

Great sandal/shoe. I got these for my husband who has giant wide feet. He didn't want standard sandals because he didn't want to show off his toes. These were comfy from the moment he tried them on, totally adjustable. It's been over a month with them and he still loves them! They look great too!

Great sandal. Extremely comfortable and accommodates my extremely wide foot. The only con that I can remotely say about them is that they are not that easy to get in and out of, but you get used to it. Other than that, I love my Omniums and will use them for any type of outdoor adventure.
