After ordering about 10 different styles, these are the perfect boot for my many specifications: water-resistant, comfortable for lots of walking, stylish for jeans or skirts, warm, shorter shaft height, and small calf circumference. Just wore them in the slush of NH and they are great.

I love these boots! I just wore them on a trip to Cape Cod in the winter, where I trudged through sand and snow. They held up great, were water-tight, warm, very comfortable, and looked fantastic the whole time. Seriously, I can't believe how well they held up to the sand and salt water. A quick brush off was all they needed. The encased cork sole is very cushy and makes walking in these boots very pleasant. A few caveats, though-- I bought them a half size bigger and they fit perfectly, even with my Superfeet insert. I did not feel they had enough arch support without the insert. Also, they were super-tight at first on my wide calves and there was some bunching at the ankles that was uncomfortable at first. They stretched out a bit after wearing them for a week, though, and now I can even wear them over skinny jeans. The bunching has stopped as well. Finally, the loop strap comes loose if I don't loop it around the button twice. Over all I could not recommend these boots highly enough!

This is the ideal boot for me! I'm pleasantly surprised I found a boot that met all my requirements: good arch support, non-skid rubber sole, air-conditioning lining (I live in the Southeast where the cold is less of an issue), and cool/non-mom boot styling. I've worn them right out of the box without any problems.

I have a full (not wide) foot size 8 1/2 and I have a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. This is a very stylish boot, and is comfortable right out of the box. I ordered a size 9 M. This boot has a more generous sized toe box and the 9 M works for me. I work in a school and am on my feet all day. The cork soles on these boots must be very forgiving because the are comfortable all day on the job. Yeah Teva!

I've been looking for a brown pair of boots for over a year now, and just couldn't find the right ones until I found these. They are the perfect height; they hit me at mid calf. All of the higher boots hit right below my knee which felt awkward, especially when I sat down. They are not too tight around the calf. I am able to wear tights with a pair of socks under them. I haven't tried them with jeans yet, but I'm sure they would fit in there too. They are super cute, and I've gotten lots of compliments. I ordered an 8.5, and I usually order an 8. They fit perfectly. They are not lined, so on a cold day I definitely need some warm socks with them.

So comfortable. The first time I wore them was at a fundraiser that required 6 hours of walking and standing on a concrete surface. They felt great. I've received many compliments on them and questions about where I bought them. They look great with both my skinny jeans and sweater dresses.

I absolutely love these boots. I wore them every day this past winter and they stood up well. I initially ordered an 8 - my usual size - but they were too snug around the calves, so I bumped up to an 8 1/2, which worked out well. I am beginning to wear out the soles, and contemplating buying a replacement pair.

I have slim feet with a high arch. I ordered these boots in an 8 Med. 7 1/2 N would have fit perfectly. The boots are beautiful. I wish I could keep them.

Brands I'd also recommend: Some Rockport styles come in a 7 1/2N and fit my foot like a glove.

I am very happy with these boots. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but ordered a 7. They didn't have enough support for me so I put an insert in the boot and they are a little snug now but not uncomfortable. I'm a mom of 3 kids and they are great to run around town in, go to the park, etc. I find that they are more of a casual boot - they look great with skinny jeans! I ordered the black and I want to order another pair in espresso. Zappos service is amazing! I ordered on Saturday morning and they were on my doorstep early Monday afternoon!

I have tried on way too many boots, thanks to the amazing service of Zappos. These are hands down the winner. I literally can run in them. The shaft height and circumference are perfect for a small petite person like myself who has found it horrible to find boots to fit. I tried the Montecito boot in leather and found the black looked too much like a biker boot. These black suedes are better and cheaper! Since the sole is black like the boot itself, they appear more chic and less casual. I just ordered the espresso a few minutes ago. When they first come the suede looks a little thin and cheap, but as I've worn them and they have softened - I'm in love. Buy these boots, from the pickiest boot shopper Zappos has ever had!

This is a fabulous pair of boots! I give it five stars for being comfy. It also looks chic, and my jeans can easily fit inside the boots (regular straight cut, not skinny jeans). The only drawback I can think of is the strap that goes around the perimeter of the top of the boot. It is cumbersome to put on the boots, because you have to navigate that darned strap! I don't think it really has a function at all. Please note that I am a size 7 1/2 and I bought size 8 because of the reviews here, which indicate these boots run half a size small. So buy half a size larger than you normally would. Great boots!

I love these boots! I purchased the dark brown ones to wear to Cape Cod during the winter and they are great. I have received lots of compliments and they are very comfortable. I wear a 10 AA or AAA and they fit me really well with a pair of socks (or two pairs of thin socks) so they definitely run narrow. I think they run true to size. I did not order up.

I have these in Gunsmoke. I absolutley love them. They are a slim cut, however, and anyone with larger calves would have issues. I am planning to get a second pair!

Love these boots! These boots are beautiful and so comfortable. I have worn them in the rain and my feet stayed dry. Get lots of compliments and my mom even ordered a pair after she saw mine, and now my sister in law is drooling over them as well. Great boots, well worth the money, I think they will hold up for a lot of wear.
