Looked like a sturdy shoe but the bungee ties showed signs of wear within two days. By the end of the week one broke and it was not repairable.

I was looking for the waterproof sneakers and ordered several pairs including Teva, Keen, Columbia, and Merrell. My son picked this pair out of 5 others because they were most comfortable. According to him, he runs faster and jumps higher in them than in other sneakers. I think they have more bouncing power or ergonomically better. My son loves them.

LOVE this shoe! And my son does, too. This is a very well made shoe. I have went through many pairs of shoes with my 7 year old son, but I really think this one is going to last. Seems to run a tad small so I wish I had bought a bigger size so it would last him longer. My son says they are very comfortable and he loves having the look of the shoestring, but not having to tie them.

These shoes deliver on quality and comfort and they are waterproof. My kid loves them. But be sure that you order a whole size up as I found they ran small.

My 10 year old daughter loves these shoes. They are sturdy and waterproof. Very tough...hopefully will stand up to recess play. We replaced the drawing string with regular blue colored laces - easier to adjust and just as sharp looking. 4 stars overall just because we prefer regular laces.

Purchased this shoe for my 9 year old son. Fit was perfect right out of the box with no break-in period. They are holding up well, and still look new. Highly recommend.

My kids love this model of Tevas - the bungee closure is just what busy kids need. They are also cool - not silly looking 'baby' shoes. Definitely order up at least a full size.

Yes, my son loved these. But, the laces broke after 3 months and after 6 months he's worn through the soles. I don't know what it is about kids shoes but the soles just don't last, at least not with my kids. I also don't know what it is with all the reviewers that give this a 5. Maybe they review when new or maybe they have low standards for life expectancy of shoes. I'd expect better for the price.

Shoe runs narrow. The elastic ties are in two sections. The forward section cannot be adjusted, so the shoes felt narrow and did not fit my son's feet. We have great success with Keens and Tsukihoshis for wider feet. Otherwise great looking shoe with great grip and styling.

Horrible straps. Just had to send two pairs of these back to Teva and am not sure how they will handle it. That is a lot of money flushed plus shipping.
