I love these! I bought them for a trip to the southwest and wore them daily and my feet and ankles were pain free. No rubbing, good support, I look forward to wearing them now in northern Michigan till the snow flies!

I absolutely adore these shoes, but very sadly have to return them because they rub at the ankles. It's strange -- I don't recall ever having that problem with other sneaker-type shoes. Otherwise they were comfortable and awesomely cool looking. I wish the ankle cutout went further back a bit so they would not rub. I really hope they keep making them, but make that change.

This shoe is very comfortable, even without socks. Since I intend to use them to walk the beach through the water sloughs, not wearing socks will be important. The toe box is nice and roomy, which allowed me to wear a full half size shorter. My arch is fully supported - I will check back in after I actually use them on the beach. On dry land, they are wonderful!

I had thought I would return these because they seemed to rub at my ankle, but I have decided to keep them. I wore them today kayaking, and walked around a bit in them and they didn't bother me. I love the grape purple color, and someone complimented me on the shoes.

Great shoes! Wore these for a week on a trip to Costa Rica with rafting, canyoneering, and rainforest hiking trips and loved them. Other reviews noted that the seam on the ankle may be irritating so I wore them for 1 week with socks pre-trip to break them in and had no problems without socks on the trip. Very comfortable. Shoes got a little smelly after a week of water-logged trips. Tossed them in the washing machine, and they are as good as new now.
