These Teva Dozer's are the best. They are sandals that fit great and are very durable. I have an older pair of these and they have held up really well. I liked them so much I wanted another set!

These shoes are awful. Actually the worst shoe purchasing experience I have ever had. I had not owned a pair of Teva's in 5 years (when I used to be a rafting photographer) and I was excited to get another pair. I ordered these online and upon opening the box the shoes smelled like the love child of napalm and the Exxon Valdez. Fine I thought, at least they are pretty attractive looking. We went up to the DC area to sight see and thinking that these Teva's would live up to being as comfortable as my original pair - I decided to just wear the sandals. It was the worst shoe mistake I have ever made. The backs of the Teva's cut into my heel and back of foot deeply only after a 3 hour trek. My feet were bleeding so badly because of the poor materials used to make the shoe - I could not hike around Harpers Ferry at all. Honestly I believe Walmart sandals probably have better construction than these shoes. Razor blades are less abrasive than the Teva Dozer. My heels still have to have band-aids and neosporin applied daily - a week and a half after my purchase of the shoe. I will never order shoes from this company again! I would advise anyone thinking of doing so not to. The quality that used to exist with this brand has gone the way of the garbage can - I am out the price plus shipping because of it.

Run a half size small. I ordered these for my boyfriend (I have the female version) and he's very happy with them. We wear them for jetskiing. Mine, after a couple of years, have started to get a bit stinky, but then I never wash them, so they're pretty great.

I love these shoes! This is my third pair of Teva Dozers. We often go boating in the summer and I wanted something I could wear in and out of the water with a covered toe since I'm working with a trailer, skis, etc. and can stub my toe. These shoes are awesome for that and have been the most durable, most comfortable shoes I've owned.

Excellent shoe. I picked up a pair of these before taking off to Costa Rica. Jokingly referred to them as "Dad shoes" since they aren't much too look at, but as far as a hiking sandal goes, if you are going to be in wet areas, there isn't a shoe I would rather wear. 6 hours of walking through the rain forest later, I didn't have wet socks and boots to dry out. Also, works well with socks, if you want to be really cool. I will say if your big toe is narrow, it can maybe poke out from under the side of the toe cap. This was an issue for my wife, so she had to return hers. Zappos was awesome about that, as always.

This is a replacement for pair of Teva Dozer that I have been wearing since 2007. I wear the Dozer year round and found it to be a good alternative to sneakers for walking, hiking, biking, gardening, household chores, etc. I had worn my old pair so much that I didn't think it would last more than another year. So I was looking for a another Dozer for a while and was glad to find it at Zappos. Even better, the price was about the same as what I paid for the original pair at an outlet. The old pair was one size larger than my normal shoe size because I couldn't find a pair in my size. However, the adjustments in the sandal made it fit fine and being a little longer was not a problem. The new pair is in my normal shoe size and fits fine. It felt a little stiff initially because I was comparing it to my old pair which was loose due to wear. After about a month I didn't notice the stiffness in the new Dozer. The new Dozer has essentially the same design as the original one, with only some cosmetic changes. I always liked the design of the Dozer - the ease of putting them on tightening a single strap over the top of the foot, cover over the toes, good ventilation, rubber insole. The color is more grayish than a charcoal color as it appears in the photo.

These sandals are almost perfect. You can adjust the width but the heel stays snug. My heel feels like it is in a comfortable protected depression as opposed to being elevated like gym shoes. I will continue to wear this style even in the winter.

This is my 10th pair of Tevas over a 15 year span. Believe you me, these sandals are the Hummer model, totally off road, or just a walk about, either way they are comfy from start to finish. Don't buy seconds from other retailers, they will fall apart. Shop at Zappos for every reason.

Very, very comfortable. Great arch support which makes the Dozer ideal for long walks in the park. I'm purchasing a second pair as a backup in case my current pair gets worn out or lost.

Great looking sandal. Purchased for trip to the Caribbean. Now that I see it person it will be the only shoe I take with me (it's stylish enough to go with casual evening-ware). Wish it came in wide sizes but the velcro straps makes adjusting for comfort easy enough. Arch support is A-fricking-mazing! Sole gripping seems adequate when tested climbing up some wet rocks. All-in-all very pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely love these sandals! This is my 2nd pair, I wore the 1st pair out after 2 years of abuse. These sandals have forded creeks and put on many trail miles in the Tetons, Glacier and Yellowstone, They took a beating in the BWCA on several week long canoe trips, they clean up well and are stylish enough to wear around town. Extremely comfortable and rugged. I will buy a 3rd pair when these wear out.
