This is the second pair of Teva Dozer I have purchased. They are very comfortable and I wear them to walk my dog two times each day, or if I intend to be on my feet for any extended period of time.\r\n\r\n

Great water shoe. I use for water aerobics. They do take awhile to dry so be prepared for that. Fit is true to size.

I received my Teva Dozer shoes and was able to wear them the first day. Went shopping and found them to be very comfortable. Am very satisfied with my order from Zappos and how quickly my order was processed and shipped. Will definitely be ordering another pair in the spring. Thank you.

Despite being forewarned by fellow hikers, I broke these shoes in on my very first hike a few weeks ago during the 4 mile Glacier Point trail from Yosemite Valley. Although they get dirty fast (which is to be expected when you are trekking) my feet were comfortable for the entire 4 miles. I even wanted to hike further after the 4 miles! No blisters, no pain. The shoes also dry fast when they get wet and the have an antimicrobial coating.

They are very functional. They rubbed a little on my heel and arch at the beginning, but now are great!

Teva and Zappos have partnered together to launch The Naturist, a new online web series, starring Gavin McInnes. The Naturist is often called an outdoor expert. We completely agree... he is an expert at what not to do while outdoors. Fortunately, he has one thing going for him, the new Teva© Riva. Thanks to features like an aggressive lug design and a waterproof and breathable membrane, The Naturist can be sure that even when everything else goes wrong, his feet will still be comfortable and protected.
Founded in 1984, Teva began with an unassuming Grand Canyon River Guide and an idea that would become the world's very first Sports Sandal.
The first pairs of Teva footwear were sold out of a van to friends and fellow boaters at the various put-ins along the river. Coupling the freedom of a flip-flop with the security of an ankle strap, the "Original" was an instant hit and quickly became the shoe of choice within the guide community.
From this beginning a culture of passion for outdoor adventure has defined the Teva lifestyle. The name Teva, pronounced "Teh'-vah", comes from a Hebrew word meaning nature and the hand in the logo is derived from the symbolic language of the Hopi people. When translated, the hand is a symbol for friendship and the spiral a symbol for water, giving Teva their creed: "friendship with water."
Moving into the next 25 years, Teva remains committed to both the innovation in footwear suited for the adventurous lifestyle and the protection of the earth's waterways.

These shoes are very comfy if you are wearing them for normal wear. If you are planning on using these for a long backpacking trip, they are not the greatest! They constantly rub the ankle bone and skin away. If you do wear them for hiking, wear socks! I've had mine for just over a month now and they have already started falling apart on me. I did go on a 44 mile backpacking trip with them, but that was constantly walking in and out of water.

I love these shoes! No break in period needed. First time I wore them without socks and no rub spots at all. The front strap and elastic adjusts for custom fitting. However the back strap does not adjust. These seem to run a bit wider than usual.

What a great shoe! This is my second pair and I followed the advice of other folks who said the 'Dozer 2' was not an improvement, and got a 2nd pair of Teva Dozer originals, instead. I must say, these shoes are incredibly comfortable even for someone like me, who has long, narrow feet with bunions (making the front of my foot extra wide). It is very hard for me to find shoes that feel great all the time, but these do, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are somewhat adjustable with a pull string as well as a velcro strip, although I've found that 'standard' (however it is out of the box) is perfectly comfortable. I wear these without socks all summer long, and they are great for hiking, amusement parks, and lounging. In other words, a lot of walking is fine for this shoe! I also love the fact that these have a little bit of purple in them. I'm not the screaming-purple kind of person, but I love having the added flair. Zappos policy on return-if-they-don't-fit (for free!) is the best in the market. I got a great price here and great, fast service. If you're considering a pair of these, give them a try! You've got nothing to lose.

I practically live in Teva hiking sandals during the summer. They are durable, comfortable, and suit a lot of outdoor activities. The Dozer is a new style for me. I was not sure I would like the closed toe sandal but it has become my primary summer footwear since I got it. I do a lot of walking in town and hiking on trails to keep my larger, young dog exercised so have already covered many happy miles in the month or so since I got this footwear.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthSuper comfy for anything active. My Dad has been wearing the men's version of these shoes for years (all purchased on Zappos, of course!) and totally loves them. He bought a pair for my husband who also loves them. As a bit of a shoe prima donna, I admit that I got little jealous when I saw how versatile and comfy they looked so I had to get a pair for myself. I haven't been disappointed. They are incredibly comfortable without socks (and don't make your feet stink!) and even more so with socks! I also love feeling the breeze around my toes! The velcro also makes them easier to get in and out of than my Salomon Techamphibians. I wear a pretty solid 7.5, but had to go up to an 8 in these shoes. The 7.5 fit, but I could just feel the edge of the shoe with my toe.

These are wonderfully comfortable; they were great for walking through some of the trails in Yellowstone. They kept my feet comfortable and cool even on some really hot and humid days. They were also great for beach hiking trails.

Fantastic shoe for those with plantar fasciitis. The molding type foot bed is very similar to Crocs, but this shoe fits and breathes better, and has better traction (not to mention looks better!). I bought these for standing at work all day, and I am totally delighted with their support and fit.

Ordered these shoes for a river rafting trip I am taking this fall. Love the color; they match my hiking wardrobe. I've worn them out in the rain to break them in, but it seems unnecessary. They were immediately comfortable and will work perfectly for the river. One thing to beware of: I did order a half size bigger, thinking hiking boots, and I needed that half size. If you plan to wear socks, better add another half size.

I love these shoes, I did have to get a 1/2 size larger than I usually get. But they are light and great for the kayak and hiking. They also have a great arch support for a sandal.

My friend turned me on to these shoes so I knew what I was getting. They fit perfect, so comfortable. I wear them everywhere: walking around town, hiking Mt. Tam, even strolling on the beach.

Very comfortable shoe. No break-in period needed. Super comfy for hiking, boating, & outdoor activities. Great traction on wet and slippery trails - they dry very quickly, too. SUPER FAST shipping as usual- don't know how Zappos does it- EXCELLENT customer service!

I bought these for kayaking, but this is a great summer walking shoe. It is comfortable and fits well on my "wider" feet. The arch support is great (I have one low and one high arch). My feet do sweat the same amount as they do in my Keen's.

I purchased these shoes for an active trip to hot, humid Costa Rica, where wet clothes seem to never dry. These were perfect! My two travel mates had different types of Keens which had more spongy mesh-type material which held the water and took much longer to dry (and stink!) than my Tevas. These were great for boating and hiking. Very comfortable. I did have some discomfort when, while wet, they also collected sand (inevitable with any shoe) which wore against my back heel. With socks, they were even more comfortable. Regarding size, so many reviews stated they ran small, so I ordered both an 8 and 9 (Zappos two-way free shipping is awesome!). I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, and the 8 was perfect, even with socks. The 9 was way too big. I don't have an especially wide foot, so maybe that's the difference.

Love the shoes...they came in 1 day, wonderful, and the fight is great! Good arch support, good natural color and I like how you can make adjustments with velcro and pull strings.

I wanted these particular shoes because they were recommended by a friend. I hunted the internet and found Zappos' website. I ordered the shoes and was pleased with the product, the service and the price. The shoes fit well, are comfortable and I like their appearance.
