Honestly, I love this shoe only because they are super cute. But on the other hand, I hate this shoe because they rub the back of my heels! So, I just wear bandaids. Hopefully after I wear them all winter, they will break in and I can wear them in the summer with no bandaids. I'm also going to try rubbing sandpaper on the inside of them to try and soften the heel up a little bit. I have worn them once with no bandaids for a little while, but that didn't last long. But I love them anyways. I have several ballet/slipper/flats, and a lot of them do that to me anyways. These by far are the worst, honestly, as for the heel, but they are an awesome shoe. Very versatile, I can wear them with really anything: skirts, shorts, pants, cords. And I'll keep on wearing them.

Cute shoe but a little tough on the heels - I love the look of this shoe. I got the tan with pink bow. It is sort of a cross between a ballet slipper and a reef-like sporty shoe. I have had some difficulty wearing them barefoot because the back of the shoe cuts into my heel. (It's actually a little sharp.) A band aid might make it better but I wish I could get away without one. I am still looking forward to wearing them in the warmer weather with jeans or capris.

Like most of the other reviewers, I think these shoes are adorable but terribly uncomfortable. I had the same problem with the back of the shoe hitting too high and causing instant blisters. These are such cute shoes that I'm really disappointed to have to return them, but life is too short to spend it in pain.

The only army green shoe I could find-- If you are considering this shoe in major brown it's really army green, which goes great with anything that I have in a khaki green color. It's pretty much a canvas skimmer without a lot of support, but it's good looking and comfortable and the price is reasonable for what you're getting. If you want more construction/foot support check out Clarks Privo Mesa, I own several pairs; but the Aloe color in that shoe was not the right color I was looking for. This one was. I would also say this is a little bit wide, which is perfect for me too.

Cute but uncomfortable - These are some of the cutest shoes I've ever seen. I bought them to wear as house shoes. They are very comfortable everywhere except for the back. The back of the shoes goes up so high on that bony part of your heel/chin. It was very uncomfortable.

Teva and Zappos have partnered together to launch The Naturist, a new online web series, starring Gavin McInnes. The Naturist is often called an outdoor expert. We completely agree... he is an expert at what not to do while outdoors. Fortunately, he has one thing going for him, the new Teva© Riva. Thanks to features like an aggressive lug design and a waterproof and breathable membrane, The Naturist can be sure that even when everything else goes wrong, his feet will still be comfortable and protected.

Founded in 1984, Teva began with an unassuming Grand Canyon River Guide and an idea that would become the world's very first Sports Sandal.

The first pairs of Teva footwear were sold out of a van to friends and fellow boaters at the various put-ins along the river. Coupling the freedom of a flip-flop with the security of an ankle strap, the "Original" was an instant hit and quickly became the shoe of choice within the guide community.

From this beginning a culture of passion for outdoor adventure has defined the Teva lifestyle. The name Teva, pronounced "Teh'-vah", comes from a Hebrew word meaning nature and the hand in the logo is derived from the symbolic language of the Hopi people. When translated, the hand is a symbol for friendship and the spiral a symbol for water, giving Teva their creed: "friendship with water."

Moving into the next 25 years, Teva remains committed to both the innovation in footwear suited for the adventurous lifestyle and the protection of the earth's waterways.

Nice idea, but not quite right - I love the idea of these shoes. They have the potential to be incredibly cute but unfortunately, they miss the mark. I feel like I am wearing boats on my feet. They are just bulky looking. Decided to return them.

Ouch! The shoe is so cute. Love the look & the fact it's recycled. My only problem was the massive blisters they gave me almost immediately! I am sure it's just how my food hits them but I wore them once 3 weeks ago and my blisters are still healing. I hate to do it, but I am going to have to return them. Other than that, they were comfy in the soul and everywhere else.

Ouchy heels - These shoes quickly gave me blisters on the heels at the top of the shoe. I have to wear Band-Aids to wear them at all.

Pretty cute, but the heel fits a bit weird on me. Almost like I know I'll get a blister. I'll probably return these ones.

Stylish and comfortable - This pretty casual shoe is comfortable, if not precisely suitable for miles of hiking. I really recommend it.
