Teva Reviews
After a year and 3 months of daily wear mainly for trails, dog walking and walking in general they have begun to wear thin in the heals but most importantly the side support have begun to loose it's containment. Probably because there's no additional stitching or pattern to maintain side wall support of the shoe, it wouldn't matter if the laces were tied tight. In rain it doesn't provide grip on trails too, now not because they were wearing thin on the soles but slipping would occur a few months into wear. They are expensive for not providing side wall support as it's mainly cloth which wears out and loosens over time.
This seems to be a good solid Sandal, but it is sized really below the listed numbers. I do not know why, probably to save money. I ordered my size 14 and 3E width, but both were short and they don't make bigger.
These are athletic shoes. Lets be honest. They are comfortable. Adjustable straps and work great for walking, water activities and camping. The style is simple. I normally wear an 8 but got these in a 7 1/2.
Have to now wear an insert in one shoe and this strap does holds that in place. Great casual shoe with support. I even wear them after work to rest my feet!
Comfortable with a lot of support if you are walking a lot or standing for an extended period of time. I really like mine!
I have low arches, so I prefer not to have a lot of arch support. Chaco sandals don't work for me because of that. I like light, minimal sandals and these fit the bill nicely. I also like to be able to take them in water and not have them got bogged down--these get big points for that. This part is a bit goofy, but I was looking for a thin heel strap that I could step on to wear as a slide. That's not easy to find, but these do it. If I'm just running around town, I slide my feet into the back and go. If I find that I need more support, I just slide the heel strap up. With the heel strap on, I feel very anchored into these. On a related note, I like this because I don't like having to velcro in and out of sandals every time. Because I don't use the velcro, my sandals last a lot longer. The footbed is thin. If you're looking for a cushy ride, these are not for you. If you like to feel close to barefoot--tadah! Traction is pretty darn good for the minimal tread pattern. I repaired some spots on my moderately slanted roof the second day wearing these and felt secure. I also tried the North Face model very similar to these, but preferred these because of the footbed comfort and basic fit. No break-in time needed in my case. Summary: super light, minimal design, easy to take on and off, not cushy, light arch support, very secure, very water friendly.
Super comfortable and great support. I walk miles in these and my feet and legs feel great. They are quite cute for such supportive sandals.
This is my first pair of wedges that sit up this high. They are amazingly comfortable and very classy. Would definitely recommend for any businesswoman on the go as they are soft and very light weight but sturdy at the same time.
I love these sandals, so comfortable. I bought my first pair at REI and I even bought a pink pair at CLARKS shoes in the mall! I am disappointed that Zappos only sells them in a 2 pack now. Back in the day I bought one pair at a time from Zappos. I'd like red but I'm not going to buy a two pack to get it.
I have been looking at this shoe for two years and have finally ordered it, and am so happy! The fit is perfect, the style is exquisite, going well with skirts, shorts, jeans, etc! Excellent quality! This was my first "Teva" brand purchase and will consider future purchases of this brand. Zappos service and quality can't be beat! I am a committed return customer!
I love these shoes! I wear them all day and they are still very comfortable when I take them off to get into bed (shower, what have you). I definitely recommend them (I have like four pairs for color variety).
If you are looking for a minimal sandals (zero-drop, very flexible, with great ground feel) look elsewhere. These sandals are Teva Northridge wannabes. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more on the Teva Northridge. While the sole looks minimal compared to most sandals (and they are on the thinner side) - they are quite firm, offering no ground feel at all. You cannot fold these things in half like truly minimal soles.
These sandals are extremely comfortable on my moderately wide, high instep foot. The strap that goes over the top is a bit short for someone with a high instep but it works. If your foot is very wide though, that strap likely won't close.
The first day I wore my new shoes, the backs of my heels were a little sore by the end of the day. I really didn't want to return them because they were SO ADORABLE (especially with the extra pair of shoelaces (green) that came with them. I decided to give them another try because I couldn't bear the thought of parting with them. Am I ever glad I did! Maybe my heels were too used to being pampered in nothing but socks all winter. (I'm a stay at home gal) or maybe the heels of the shoes just had to soften up a smidge, but they were totally fine when I wore them again, and have been great ever since! I absolutely love these shoes and would highly recommend them!
Love this shoe!! My favorite lake/pool shoe! Very comfy and easy to kick off or put on in a hurry! I ordered in black last year, and this year ordered the new colors!
These shoes are awesome! I refuse to be one of those flip flop moms this summer. These shoes are really great looking on and super comfortable. Perfect combination of cool style, comfort and support.
I bought these for my husband who needs a sturdy, comfortable, but breathable shoe while working in Afghanistan. They have held up in the dry, sometimes rocky conditions and have also kept his feet cool and dry from the high temperatures and sweat. He is really satisfied with these shoes and would buy another pair if needed.
Love the shoes! Think I might order them in another color. I get many compliments...they are very comfy! The cushion on the pad of your foot took a little getting used to, but now I find it extremely comfortable. Buy these - you won't be sorry you did.
